This is so inspiring. I *play* very similar music but I am always hesitant to record anything (haven’t recorded anything in 20 years). Maybe I should pull the ol’ R2R out, press record, and just have fun. I appreciate your videos AND your music! Thank you -

I had a friend who was a composer, he played the saxophone. His wife was a world-class pianist. He was going places: they had Philip Glass over for dinner occasionally, for instance. He lost his mind, wife and career to alcoholic insanity. His personality fragmented and he became homeless. I wish my friend didn't throw it all away. Not sure if he had any choice in the matter really. You remind me of him (before he lost it all), very savvy but a little goofy and with a good sense of humor. Don't lose your mind okay? And careful with the booze and substances. By the way, your music is intimate and moving.

Wow! I spent three weeks of evenings trying to get anything out of Suno and Udio (rather unsatisfactory). It never occurred to me to play _with_ it! 👏👏👏

Science has demonstrated that we can sense light with organs other than our eyes; skin certainly, internal organs perhaps, even glands deep inside the head can notice light and change our entire endocrine being because of that light. We didn’t used to know this in the past. Is it possible we have even more ways to sense and be changed by the presence of light, from whatever source that light may have? A beautiful reflection of light, Jameson, and a beautiful gift to share in the octave of Easter. Thank you.

Sublime. One of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve heard in a long while. Somewhat reminiscent of Sigur Rós’s ethereal vocal based tracks.

Hello, lovely music. I have been a fan of the Proper People (it’s amazing how everything associated with them is always so spot on and tasteful, like your music). I am working on an orchestration project under the working-title “abandoned”. It will be an homage to their wonderful videography. I was hoping to pass the word along to them and share the final product when complete. Purely a passion project based on admiration of the past and the abandoned explorers who unearth this for the rest of us. All the best! Dylan

Nice Jameson! I found you because I was looking into BandCamp pros and cons. Watched a few of your videos and decided to check out your music as well. Glad I did! FYI, I know you are a little sour on “Playlists” but I am going to put this composition on my Chill from YT Friends Playlist because it took me to “another place”. Beautiful! Have an awesome week. 🎵💜🎹Dawn(Mike too) PS I was also feeling a little discouraged today because I put a lot of creativity into our videos, you know that kind of drop out feeling, who knows, maybe it’s because it is a Monday. :)

I don't own hardware, or would know what to do with it, but this inspires me to finally get to doing trippy analog sounding stuff like this too, or learn/experiment on doing it. Thanks so much! Fan of Pink Floyd since '77 DSOM, so you know..... Love it!

Wonderful! I love the fact that it sounds like a person playing the piano, not like a sequenced clean sample library (nothing wrong with that, but this is just more alive). I also like the composition somewhat in the style of Debussy, Ravel and Satie. I really think there's and untapped source of inspiration for todays piano composers. The soundtrack ambient piano style has dominated for many years, this is more unique.

Jameson, you have written a wonderful piece of music. I bought it on Bandcamp to listen to it to my heart's content. What I would really like to do is learn to play it, and to that effect, have you made the sheet music available to purchase? I'm not a very good piano player but I will take the time to play it right.

if you buy his course on composition, on his website, he has it for download there (unless you have it already or contacted him)
