Tracking is one of my strongest aiming skills, here are my two cents. Tracking is in my opinion a lot easier with mid to low sensitivities and larger mice. I track WAY better with my Viper V3 pro or Vaxee AX, than my X2V2 mini. Its also surface friction, I feel like tracking is easiest on a mid friction surface, like the artisan hien. On glaspads its kinda hard when there is a lot of reactivity and on mudpads as well. Grip might also play a role, I think it was Sinatraa back in his OW days where he switched to palmgrip for tracking heavy characters to have that extra stability.
@ddkesports4 сағат бұрын
Yeah, I definitely feel this, I think you're totally right. I actually just went to the vaxee xe-s, which allows more stability for me. It's still small, which is important for me to keep the fingertip strength in play, but a lot more filling in my hand. Will keep trying to push my barriers in tracking- just about to do my vdim!

Thanks for this, i will try it out for a month, not missing a single day and compare my old aim to my new aim. I'm super curious if i will see any result. My biggest problem right now is my crosshair shaking sometimes, especially when tracking, i just can't controll it...

Fantastic listen! Had this going in the background while doing my Voltaic Benchmarks. Furthermore, I'm going to relisten to this video Monday before I take on any stock trading! after listening and reading many books on trading psychology (and also training in Powerlifting), I can vouch that you're dead on. In the words of Tom Hougaard (high stakes day trader): "Control your mind, control your future"

not watched the video yet, but since this just popped up, I was thinking about the rapha vs evil final at QuakeCon 2016, since I rewatch that match from time to time and was surprised its been 8 years already. Should be nice to go down memory lane with some other classics, especially for someone who doesn't know the history of the game.

Lovely, I'd like to see a more analytical/pausey approach since I don't play quake at all and it would be easier to understand. Not too in depth but taking time when necessary, in key moments. Or maybe the way that chess players do it, dynamic and brief during the game and taking time and in depth after the game. Both combined would be the most comprehensive probably but it comes down to the time it takes for you to record.

Its great that you were able to get value for youreself out of that book but I think its 100% necessary to at least mention that Jocko Willink is a far right conservative pundit co-hosting podcasts with straight up neonazis. Dont really think an uncritical endorsement of his books is all that responsible in that context...

I hope that time to kill goes down in the mid to late game so that mechanical skill becomes more relevant. As it is currently you will die during a single stun so there is really no opportunity to outplay with mechanics unless you are playing an ultra tanky or evasive hero
@Dewy37392 күн бұрын
It’s moba bro. Getting caught out with a stun and no teammate to counter stun /heal you means you lost. The game is never gonna be someone who can 1v6 because of their mechanical aim skill
@angelo2268Күн бұрын
You're supposed to use your knowledge and awareness to not put yourself in those situations in the first place.

i agree with you. this game doesn’t reward mechanical skill or aggressive play at all tbh.

It's a fun game but many ex-pro players of other games or failed pro attempts, diving in already, early alpha. The skill gap is high, especially at PUGs (good place to actually learn competitive Deadlock.) MOBA players have good macro but trash mechanics and FPS players have good mechanics and trash macro. You like CS and LOL, you'll have a better time adapting than others.

Nah i run cooldown and reach on his ult. Once its lvl 3 its 50 second cd so you have it every fight and just sets up your whole combo. If you get far enough to get mystic reverb as well on it....crazy strong solo play and even stronger team plays. Throwing ppl back into seven/bebop ult grabbing them at the end of a dynamo ult and thrpwing them back down. And the reach lets you throw them SO FAR back. Also you can cancel bebop ults, haze ults, pull vin and talon out of the sky and not feel like you wont have your ult again. It feels so good to slam a vin/talom and they go up so you can grapple ult them amd your slam is already back.

Another contributor is the number of catchy headline saying [insert activity] made me so good in [insert short period of time]. What happens is someone watches this, replicates it, fails, then compares themselves to the video and goes I just I'm not good at said activity and then they quit. And unless you've actually been in an environment where learning is important; like competitive sport in School or wherever, then most people give up. I think the goal is teaching people the proper way to learn, the right mindset, setting achievable goals; and compounding those goals over time; periodic reflection on performance to make sure you're not learning bad habits; etc.
