Hey guys! In this video, I wanted to address some of the issues players have both in guiding their own improvement, as well as not integrating their technique properly in-game. Most of us expect passive improvements in-game, but we can take a more active approach.

I’m loving the consistency of uploads! All recent videos have been very high quality and have helped me stay consistent with my new training schedule. Your video about how to recover when missing shots has changed my mindset completely while playing ranked/ premier in valorant. I can’t support via Patreon right now but I have been liking all videos and have actually sent a few to my buddies. Thanks for content and I hope you have a great weekend man.

Thank you :). It's definitely one of my more ambitious videos in terms of the effort going into constructing it. On these scripted guidelike videos I'll continue to improve the quality in every way I can.

Great video DDK! The quality is so high in this one, it's obvious you took time to write a solid script and the connections to previous videos were super helpful.

Love the insight came from this video and a perfect reflection for me when it comes to aim training, recently used aimlabs for training and grinded out gridshot (precision) and consistently hit 85k average and sometimes around 90k but realized I slumped in actual matches in Valorant and forgot the actual mechanics of the game and other stuff to improve upon. Love the vids and thanks for the realization.

DDK just wanted to say I’ve never taken aim training seriously but have always had somewhat good mechanics by way of getting kills however watching a couple of your videos and applying it to my aim training routines have made my in game mechanics 10 fold

i tend to learn really slowly and I like to grind things... from what i noticed it helps me more to grind easier scenarios and then throw in a couple of hard versions than to do it the other way around. i think people learn differently and it takes time to figure out what works for you.

As for the part about unconscious aiming, I saw an aim guide video recently about training that. Does anyone know what video that might be? I can’t find it now

once you get to a certain level aiming good just becomes unconscious

Do you recommend using aim trainers before or after playing the actual game?
@ddkesports
@ddkesports 27 күн бұрын
Before and after are both good. Just be conscious of not overdoing it if you're about to go play. If it's after a playing session, be conscious of how much quality focus you have left for the day-- for me there's a clear level where I know I'm too tired to maintain sufficient quality and it's better to stop. Is that helpful?

Right now I think people generally overfocus on aiming. Like you cannot benefit from good aim if you don't even have the chance to. Some of my friends started aim traners a while ago and have significantly improved in aim since, but then ask why they lose a gunfight when they peek 3 people alone.
@fleepity
@fleepity 26 күн бұрын
i think confidence in gunfights is definitely a good benefit, but one thing i struggle with is figuring out if something was a good play cuz it could of been the right thing to do but i whiff and it turns to shit anyway
@greippuli9166
@greippuli9166 26 күн бұрын
@@fleepity just record your matches and watch them after them, it's really easy to tell if you did something wrong that way. Tbh I never think about anything too that much at all, I just play the games and after time improving is basically automatical

I guess, aim trainers push aiming much further than in fps games, making aiming in game easier amd more consistent

@@greippuli9166 because even players like matty cant hit 100% acc on certain scenarios sometime barely number 1 hit 70% so its like we didnt hit the ceiling of aiming yet and i dont think we're even close to it so the ceiling in aim trainers is too high for us
