Nice idea, but would look better if those central ‘rings’ weren’t so regular. They could be offset and angled slightly upwards. This would look less like a skeletal St Paul’s and mimic the sentiment ‘raising the roof’.

Manchester United have been talking about building the ultimate stadium since they were formed in the first decade of the 20th century, so I very much doubt this one will happen either.

This design along with spurs, Madrid, Barcelona etc are boring. They’re all going down the US NFL stadium design route, not proper football stadiums. Too much emphasis on holding concerts and NFL matches.

Wonder what that would hold? 130k 135k or more? Looks bigger than Nou Nou Nou Camp. I wonder if the sightlines would work. The styling is a bit boring tho. I prefer stadia with at least a nod to history... with a modern day execution.

Those sitting in the bottom tier might be a tad wet! Bit of an oversight by the designers as in not knowing Manchester climate! And PS ……… we require a new team firstly!
