watched just a few vids now, first being with the friendly pachy , and i was considering installing the game since i already own it, but seeing venom on a dilo, and hallucinations etc, i doubt i will, but it was an interesting watch at least, i just don't want supernatural abilities

I agree with the anti coagulant. One of the funnest things about playing Dilo in legacy was bleeding out a Rex if you were skilled enough. Just keep applying bleed and being tricky, eventually the prey bleeds out. Didn't need any fancy hallucinations that don't really provide that much of an advantage

Why are their so few herbivore players? My guess would be just about every private server banning herbis who don't just lay down and die when a hungry carnivore spots them.

As a solo cerato, back in the old isle i was afraid of carno shitless, i would not dare go near one. Now however, i wouldn't mind attacking two.

I actually prefer herbivores. I can never seem to find enough food as a carnivore, but I'm decent at evading predators. Heck, I tried to play as a herrerasaurus a few days ago, and I starved to death over and over because I was not encountering any AI creatures or players I could hunt. Not even schooling fish when I checked rivers. The only players I saw that evening were almost exclusively packs of dilophosaurus. Meanwhile on another server, I grew a diabloceratops to 100% on a full server and don't remember attracting the attention of a single carnivore the whole time. I have grown a herrerasaurus to full adult before, but the whole reason I even made it past the juvenile stage in that run was because a deinosuchus in the highlands lake kept leaving fish on the shore and not watching it closely enough, giving me the opportunity to run in and grab pieces of meat from them. Makes me wonder if the developers could maybe increase the AI spawn rate a bit, because the map is so big that a server size of 100 players still makes it look almost empty. I imagine that would put extra strain on the servers themselves though.

Wll good news. The bile amount per bite got multiplied by 0.5 or reduced by half. So that should deal with the overpowered bile bite. Dont know if its reduced too much though. Will just have to wait and see

I want to love playing raptor, but they're just way too damn squishy compared to most everything else, especially with how little damage they do comparatively and the endless hitbox fuckery. It feels like you have to be lucky constantly to get any success, whereas most things you fight can cripple you with a couple of hits.

27:10 This is exactly why I don't want to even touch herbivores as a carnivore anymore. You two have been fighting this Teno for over an hour, an adult Cerato shows up and does damage but STILL DIES. I even said out loud "That's F**king ridiculous!". I definitely want herbies to have a good fight in them but the fact they can consistently 1vEveryDamnCarnivoreonthemap makes it just feel bad. I think they need a health nerf or a damage nerf. It makes no sense that they can kill basically anything with 6 shots max while being able to take an hours worth of damage. Rant over. Great video, as always.
