Im thinking of using this color for my windows in my room eith redend point on the walls and pure white trim. But im not sure how work malted milk into the room bc i love that color as well

I painted my exterior with this color and paired the trim with SW Cyberspace and I absolutely love it! It's so much lighter toned on the exterior compared to being used inside. I painted a small square in my bedroom to see if I wanted to paint an accent wall and it looks so much darker inside. Wasn't what I was looking for inside so I'm going with Indigo Batik there.

Hi! I wonder what do you think of SW Siitake or Simplify Beige. I'm looking for a neutral color with no undertones. My house faces East. I have a light tone blue sectional sofa, with medium tone stained wood cabinets & carrara marble counter tops, dark brown floors. Some decor elements in soft green. Thank you! I am considering Sherwin Williams Pure White for my West facing kitchen & living room (walls, ceiling, cabinets). It does not get a lot of direct sunlight in the afternoon because of the trees covering it. I thought SW Pure White would be a good choice as the room has high ceilings and some architectural things close to the ceiling. Now after hearing about Alabaster, I am reconsidering but afraid that it would look too beige. Can you recommend a direction I should go to?

I went to drop off old cans of paint at Sherman Williams and realized there was a FULL can of Sea Salt…what was I thinking 🤦🏻‍♀️. I’m going to use it in my nail studio. It will give it a soft spa like feel. I used to have it in my old home’s living room in the desert. It looked so fresh in the open room. It’s a perfect color.

Such a great video. We are finishing our basement with very little natural light. Probably looking for a green or blue color for the walls. The trim will be white and after your video we may just go with Pure White. Is Semi-Gloss the most common for trim these days?

I am embarking on a whole house paint redo using Drift of Mist with Pure White trim. I’m excited to see how it turns out. Now I have Softer Tan with RLV of 62, so I bet this new paint will make my house look bigger, since it has an LRV of 69! Wish me luck.

I just used pure white in a flip house. I first used China white and it looked so creamy and dingy-looked terrible. The pure white was absolutely beautiful paired with the same on the trim. I plan on using it in my own home. I used sw alabaster and it’s definitely creamy especially with the suggested pure white trim.

I have a sample of Urbane Bronze on my Hardee Board above my red brick and it looks like a very dark green. Should I try a different paint? I went to Lowes to get the sample of their brand.

Wow, I'm so grateful to find your color analysis. I would like an interior paint color that is soft enough to compliment an older home with very little direct light from the windows. While I love Alabaster, I think Greek Villa is brighter and would add more warmth to a ranch-style home that's now more open concept after a wall was removed. My kitchen has a lot of maple laminate cabinets. There are no walls here-- just soffits above cabinetry (load bearing beam hidden inside), windows, sliding door and adjacent windows. It is open to the family room, which has SW Essential Gray. I have Drift of Mist in hallways. The Essential Gray does nothing for the caninetry. I hate yellow underones in any colors. I really need to update my countertops and put in a backsplash before repainting. Thanks for the video. I'll keep the paint colors in mind when choosing countertop material. I definitely don't want to paint my cabinets. Yes, it's just laminate but homes in my area are selling quickly and with the same cabinetry, at very decent pricing.

I loved all your suggestions & wish i waited for 1 week since we just painted our kitchen. I used Greek villa, its a decent option too but it does have a whitewash feel to it.
