it's funny, i bought the game as soon as it was for sale, and I just now load it up for the first time lol. one thing I don't understand, is how do you know when food on a fire is ready to eat? most games have some kind of timer. also, what wall is better against enemies, stone or pointy logs?

I knew most of the tips, but even then it was nice to watch the video and some pretty Valheim footage. There were also a couple tips I didn;t know or think of before and I feel like I need to play Valheim right now to use them in practice :D

Fun story about drowning. Me and my friend was playing and we were in a water cave. At the exit there was a bunch of different monsters including multiple mouth boys. My friend died almost instantly so i swam up revived him and he died again before he could do anything. So i had go up and recive him once again but he kept dying before he could do anything. But since he died the cannibals would target me next. But since i was in the water they would go towards me fall into the water and drown while i revived my friend for the last time

You don’t have to do heavy attacks to break tree stumps

Here’s another tip, when raising ground if you sit below the wall you’re making and place your cursor at the top of the wall it will take less resources then raising from the ground

The "Log out - log in" trick with Leviathans has been patched; after loggin in, the Leviathan is simply gone now.

Tip no. 69 Know your enemy. If there is a particularly annoying enemy, don't hesitate, check it's resistance at wiki. Adjust type of damage you use. (Don't be me, do not shoot skeletons with arrows and mace the trolls...)

personally i feel like they need to nerf mages. i think valhiem is legit just easy mode if your a mage and as a warriar type player myself i think they get away with too much like summoning huge trolls threw charred fort walls and clearing it while they are just safely summoning them. Its kind of dumb rlly. and i think valhiem experience as a whole is ruined because being a mage makes the game way to easy.

Far from an "Ultimate Guide". Completely glossed over the special environmental versions of the bows and crossbows. I came looking for comparison of the crossbows from the "Ultimate Guide" and left with disappointment for what felt like a rushed ending to an otherwise mediocre weapon review. With floors, if you simply right click it will change the orientation of the planks/stones. No need to worry about angles or existing structure.

I checked out this video because Valheim is currently 50% off on Steam and it's been on my Wishlist. 7-28-24 Watching this video, I'm impressed with the devs. There seems to be a lot of things designed to be nice to the player, such as the raft stopping, being able to mark your map, flattening terrain to build your base and getting full resources back among other things that other games don't do and it just makes it frustrating.
