There´s no way the actress Lauren German didn´t fall in love with the actor playing Lucifer - Tom. He was and is totally taken by an adorable and smart wife, but honestly, something was going on there on a very deep emotional level -- they knew it was an impossible love - both in the show and especially in real life... I can´t imagine what Lauren went through after the show was over... tough, very tough...

Satan made into a fearful avoidant with incredible physical looks and powers that constantly fears being abandoned and never feels like enough because he does not feel worthy of deserving someone else's true love, even a weak human woman, is why this show is so emotionally deep. Empathy for the fallen angel rewritten entirely different than in the Bible, but this is why he is so relatable and we as an audience connect with him as he is like us, we all struggle with one side or the other or both of these feelings and those that do not feel his pain of inadequacy.

I'm crying rn because this is how it should have been, the set up. then she would have been emotionally invested instead of it being just a "meh, i killed the evil fk" moment at the end. she would have still done what it took to save the world but would have been devasted
