y’all hear me out. tbh i was like devi before. i think that she only thought that she liked paxton bc of the idea of him since he’s like cool. her relationship with ben was so natural since they both have this fiery personality. competition, i feel, is like the way they understand each other. devi was so blinded by the idea of paxton that she didn’t even bother to think of ben. ben was the one that was there when she really needed it. i do see it in paxton’s perspective too. he was also blinded but he was blinded by his popularity. once he actually got to know devi, he’d grown to like her. but i feel like that moment in the car when they kissed was just him feeling bad for her and paxton just mistakes pity for feelings but i guess we’ll see in season two (hopefully 🤞🏻)

U know why I Ship them more than her w Paxton? Because of their chemistry, its reasonble why they like each other! I mean, thyve known each other for most of their lives! Paxton has barely even had full conversations with her and only kissed her cause he knew she was being vulnerable and was the only way he found to tell her "pat, pat, everything is going to be ok" LIKE COME ON! Her life was a total complete MESS at that moment and she was totallly LOST buut, when she kissed Ben all her problems were solved and she realized that Ben was there for her like, she was being a sane person, seriously, U cannot compete, U cannot compare, they totallly are endgame material.
