Great video, I currently own 05 325xi. Great is active snow storms, nice to have for weddings, funerals and and evening out. BUT they have to be maintained. It is starting to show age where little things are setting off the sensors. It is quite annoying. But the car just rides nice and hugs the road! It is hard to let it go.

In about 1000 miles im due for a oil change. So for my 2014 228i RWD Coupe, I ordered 5w30 Schaeffer's Advanced European Performance. The BMW dealership said originally the weight was 5w30, but changed it to 0w30. I said screw it im gonna keep it 5w30. Schaeffer's been around since 1839.

Broke like 4 frontlips by now, bought the 3 piece one now and I will mount it with nuts and bolts so I can remove it during winter!!

Bought my 2015 335i 2 years ago and have had no MAJOR issues. Tuned the car got misfires so had to upgrade spark plugs and coils, parking brake cable rubbing on driveshaft was fixed with zipties, and coolant expansion tank plastic broke leaving me stranded once. Other than that no issues and the car is my daily driver. Do have an oil filter housing leak so planning on fixing that and upgrading to the mosselman thermostat in the process. Bought the car at 50k miles currently sitting at 81k.

These dealers are definitely getting exposed. 🙈

I've owned two BMWs. They were great until they weren't. My 335d couldn't be fixed by the dealer, so they took it in as a trade on a 2er. I did the Euroean Delivery, which was awesome. The N22 developed the timing chain whine. I dumped that car and bought a Lexus. I haven't looked back. I did follow this channel during my ownership period. I just came back to check-in to see if JB has moved on to a different marque.😛

i just bought a 330d f31 22y old my first car was a 535d so glad i ubgraded it drinks like 7l per 100km it drives smothly and i learned a lot from the e61 the only think is i have a full discound on parts and i bought a 3.0 diesel cause we have a famamilz busines and i drive a lot from nov til now made 24kkm the only think i replacet are stabilazor rod 45e and 1 hour off my time the diesel tend to be more reliable doe planing on mazybe a alpina d5 in the future have an audi a6 c5 2,7t st3 as project and a old s70 2,0t volvo that i got for 600e 3rd owner but i do agree knownig how to mainten a bmw youself saves you a bunch off hastle and money also eu has cheaper oem parts in general

Steer clear of e90 and newer. Go back in time ...go e46. Way easier to own and maintain. Way more reliable. I've had both. I've had my e46 ZHP since 2017. Amazing car. I'll never get rid of it.

As both a BMW owner and a vehicle technician I can tell you that Run Flat tyres are a piece of nonsense! They offer little to no benefit over a normal tyre but cost more, weigh more, are a pain in the ass to fit/remove, are unrepairable, are less comfortable and are noisier. So just do what Justin says, buy a can of tyre sealant and a small compressor. Ditch the run flats.
