I'll never stop being amazed at how they can hide so well. Even or perhaps more amazing are roosters. For a non native species, they've adapted so well.

I have had birds do this. From my experience it’s a heart and lung shot. I’ve also had birds fly straight up and come down dead as a door nail. I mean the second shot was out of respect

Not those ducks! Those ducks have been running from the law for a long time and I finally caught up with them! They were shot and now they are sentenced to be cooked and eaten! You plant eaters crack me up!

With a pointer it’s all about the nose! These birds get underneath the cover and can’t be seen, and they make no noise. If not for our pointers nose we couldn’t find these birds! Thanks for watching, and thank you for your excellent question! ❤️
