I have a wall with smooth plywood but it has Aqua Coat grain filler to fill in most of the grain (to appear smoother). Will this product stick to the Aqua Coat or do I need to apply primer first? If so, what kind of primer?
@romabio6 сағат бұрын
We recommend lightly sanding the surface of the Aqua Coat Grain Filler (125-150 grit) to create a surface profile, followed by a coat of MicroGrip Primer, allow it to dry completely, and then apply Velatura Mineralwash on top. 🙂

Is this the slurry? We have used your products on the exterior of our home and they look great and hold up well, however our back patio has a short wall and fireplace that we tried the product on and it is starting to fade due to being exposed to rain etc. is there a product you’d recommend or a method to getting the product to stay on the brick better so that the rain doesn’t wash it away?

Will a Graco magnum X7 sprayer work with this limewash?
@romabio14 күн бұрын
Classico Limewash can be sprayed using either a professional grade airless sprayer (tip size .0519"-.0521") or a HVLP spray gun (tip size 1.4mm-1.5mm) with at least 3,000 psi. Graco Magnum X7 does not support the needed tip sizes so it's use is not recommended. 🙂

How much does the back of your bucket say it needs to be diluted? What percentage does it say?
@user-wd8em2pw4c19 күн бұрын
20% or 25%. I don’t know how much that is as in cups? If I have a 2.5 litter and use it all how many cups would I use for the 20 or 25%? Also have a 1 liter and same question as for dilution? I bought a medium gray color and a white color is the smaller one and want to add the white on some of the bricks to give it a different look. Any thoughts? Thanks for answering my questions wasn’t sure if you would or not.

For a 2.5 liter you will dilute using between 2-3 cups of water, for a 1 liter you will dilute using roughly 1 cup of water. Our products are artistic so it is up to you if you would like to use a highlight colors, please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help. 🙂

Can i use an airless sprayer? If using airless, how much to dilute? Is brushing better than spraying?
@romabioАй бұрын
Classico Limewash can be applied with a professional grade airless sprayer (at least 3000 psi) using a tip size if .519”-.521”. Classico Limewash can be diluted 50-70%. We recommend starting with 50% dilution and diluting more if needed. Applying Classico Limewash with a brush or a sprayer are both great application techniques and just depends on personal preference. 🙂

If the masonry surface is damaged, consult a mason and follow their advice on how to repair the surface prior to painting. Sealed, pre-painted and/or unabsorbent surfaces cannot absorb the paint and will require extra steps and possibly a different coating

Se puede usar pintura regular y cuál ?
@romabio3 ай бұрын
