I went out from Liberty station the other day. While unloading, I realized I forgot all my terminal tackle. No plastics, weights or scent, just what I had on my rods. I went out anyway with the one ned rig that I had, and as I passed under the bridges I checked the pilings and found the lead and plastic I needed for a drop shot rig, with that I caught 1 spotty. Problem solved. I also sounded the depth under the bridge for a bunch of kids jumping off into the bay, their fun was fun to watch. Damn right tough days can be fun, the glass is always half full!! Yeeew Thanks DSH

i know this is an old vid but I just started watching it and its funny to see you play a spottie with the kayak as the tool, then just let it hang and burn energy like no worries, I usually fish from shore and it is completely different, with my 15lb flouro I never give them a chance to dig, and they still dig. I set my drag super tight and can't believe they still pull drag sometimes, but like I said I try not to give them an inch cuz once they get in weeds or rocks your done. Watching you on the yak makes me respect shore fishing even more! I know you said you had light line so I'm not trying to act like yak fishing isn't as good, its just cool to see the differences.
