Yes, there is no ferry currently from Penang to Langkawi or Langkawi to Penang. It has been stopped since pandemic.

@@itsareeb7799 Hello, No there is no any immigration when you check out or check inn from Langkawi. When you buy the Jetty ticket either from Langkawi or Kuala perlis, ticket counter person will only need your passport number.

It's an informative video but you should have also mentioned that one can take a flight from KL to Langkawi. It's around 1300 per person without checkin luggage and 1500 per person with luggage of 20Kg. Flights are almost every hour from KL to Langkawi. If I have to choose between 1500 and 1 day I would definitely choose 1500 and reach Langkawi in 1 hour from KL.

Our motive was to explore the local transport there, so we opted for this. And flight ticket we were getting that time was around 3500 INR Per person with luggage.1000 INR was the flight cost without luggage.
