How did ya deal with the weird front bumper attatch points? Been wanting a new one but idk if I need to cut it down or what.

Where did you buy the tow? And where can i get one
@creepy0133 ай бұрын
I didn't buy it, it was made from scratch using metal (brass) and steel. The plans I drew up from photos, (Matts Off Road Wrecker) as a guide.

Very nice rig! I have a blue one as my first 1:10 rc truck. I very curious what bumper you have and how you mounted it.
@creepy0134 ай бұрын
Sorry for the late reply, the bumper was purchased from ebay but I modified it to fit the Atlas, here are some details. Front Bumper for 1/10 RC Crawler Traxxas TRX4 TRX4 Axial SCX10 & SCX10 II. link to ebay site. www.ebay.com.au/itm/295640401710 Hope this helps and good luck with your truck build.

Is it common for these expensive loco's to require traction tires?
@timmyjackson69185 ай бұрын
Whoa man! Uou made that Atlas look like 💰! I almost got one but ended up getting the HB toys Beluga instead. I am overly happy with my purchase, but seeing how you have this one set up, I think this should be my next one. Nice ride, man.

What light bar is on the roof
@creepy0135 ай бұрын
It's a generic brand purchased off ebay. The one I have is a 24 led bar. just search the description below. Super Bright LED Light Bar Metal Roof Lamp For SCX10 TRX4 D90 90048 1/10 RC Car.

What supplies did you use for the wrecker part?
@creepy0135 ай бұрын
@@jastonkesselring759 mainly brass bar and angle (purchased from a online metal store) no brazing, all bolted together so I can modify if needed. Most of the brass is 5mm square (Jib and frame etc.) I drilled and tapped 2mm for small SS screws, since this video the wrecker, frame etc has been painted. I will post up a new video soon.

@creepy0138 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind comment, I made the rear of the wrecker out of brass bar and flat, it is screwed together with small hex headed screws, I have since added tool boxes and painted the frame. I going to post another video very soon. Regards Gary.

I had this exact engine NPR, bought it at a hobby shop here in indiana back in like 2005 it was marked down and a good deal at the time. I had it on a simple layout in my garage and one of my kids knocked it off on the floor and it demolished it. just pitched it, no way i was going to be able to fix it, was the nicest loco i ever owned.

I have under layout Kadee 308 Magne-Matic Under-the-Track Uncouplers. Having any rolling stock with brass or metal axles, the rolling stock behaves awkwardly, so I replaced them with plastic axels.
