Wow, that was beautiful going up through the mountains. And good that the weather held up for you this time and made it a better experience than last time. I hope the people in the car were ok. It did make me laugh that the lady was trying to open the car door, but the man in shorts was just stood there watching. 🤦♂🤦♂ Another lovely video, don't expect scenery like that in Dorset🤣🤣🤣

Yes, that lady was in real panic and didn’t realise that the doors were closed electrically, like so many other cars. The man seemed a little shocked or feeling helpless. We hope that it ended up well too… Dorset will be beautiful in it’s own way 😜

Dass ist nur weil von Honda selbst gab es nur die silberne sturzbūgel. Mit unseren schwarzen Honda sieht diese besser aus. 🤗 Wir sind zufrieden Liebe grüße von uns. 🙋♀️🙋♂️🏍️🏍️

We've had lots of fog here the past few days, not good to ride in, especially in the mountains. It looked great roads though, but what a shame that road was closed. Even with the bad weather, it looked a nice ride, and the snow on the mountain tops was lovely. Happy New Year to you both

@@Tojj29 Thank you Nigel. Of course, rain is never nice to drive, but we didn’t have any problem with that. Most of the day the weather was okay. The weather in Belgium is very gray, foggy and wet too. In total we had 9 hours of sunshine in December! And even that time the sun was behind a thin layer of clouds most of the time. Hopefully it will get better in 2025. A healthy, safe and happy 2025 for you and your family too! 👍😜

@@place17adv Thank you Leo! The surroundings in the Aosta valley are beautiful indeed. We were very impressed by the wild flowing river. Unfortunately we didn’t stop to film it properly. There was surveillance at all the bridges to keep informed and alerted for the high water levels. But as you said: at the end the sun came out and showed the beautiful mountains. Exactly the same situation as we had 8 years ago when we were in Aosta on our Suzuki SV. 😜👍

Well those bikes are certainly loaded up well. A long day but worth it, lovely roads and scenery. Wow, that was lots of supports under the bridges at Quercia, and everywhere has some really nice buildings. Nice accommodation again, as you say Sil seems to do well finding them.

What a day! 10.5 hours on the road, you did great! And the steamy hot in this weather due to temperatures and humidity! You brought me back to the SS65, loved that road on my way back when I was on my own back home. Loved the view from that apartment, well done to Sil to find these hidden gems. I love such places in small villages - they've got such a homely atmosphere! Great video again, can't wait for the next one! 😊

@@place17adv Thanks Leo 👍 That’s why we mentioned it in the video, that SS65, because we knew you had driven it too. We even had a break at one of the restaurants where you had an expensive meal. We only had a coffee there. Sil did a good job, king of the accommodations! 😜 We really loved the B&Bs in Italy!

@@oldbootsontour aye that place. Thing is I would not mind the food to be expensive ... if it was any good! But it was far from passable! If you would see how they served me "boiled carrots" as a side dish - I looked forward to it, and then a few rotten, dry, ugly carrots for almost 10 EUR ... even the waitress was apologetic that it may not be up to their normal standard, but they still charged me for it! Hope the coffee was good there though! 😀 Agree, king of the accomodation bookings Sil! Btw. the other type of accomodation to look for in Italy are "agriturismo" places - local farms, usually with one or more cottages and a good local food, usually good value for money.

En dat klopt wel. 🤣 Het steile pad af zijn we helemaal vergeten om te filmen. Kwam ook doordat die boer er met zijn tractor op eens stond. @@Tojj29 We saw a lot of windows closed too. Partly we believe because they were empty, but also maybe for siësta or just as shade for the sun. In many areas there is not a lot of work except for the farmers. We think that that young people left those little villages and moved to the bigger cities. And also, we don’t know what the Corona-period did with the (older) people. Italy was hit very hard… Hahaha playing footsy 😂 The apartments in Italy: a big 👍

@@Vikki_Horton thank you Vikki, in the beginning we where just a little bit angry, but what’s the use of that? So we just made the best of it and waited until help was coming. The 5 hours waiting passed by very quickly because we had a lot of fun. We had plenty of water and food and enjoyed our stay on the mountain. The park is really amazing, but never again that little dirt road 😱 We where really glad that we came of that road in one piece 🤭 They call it adventure 🤪

@@Tojj29 Mai-Ly was very anxious about that first steep start, but she did it! First time, since we drive motorbikes, having a puncture. And that with brand new tyres! But yes, it can happen always. The breakdown place couldn’t have been better, enough space, beautiful view and we were provided well. Only thing: the assistance company had really problems finding us. It was really in the middle of nowhere. We didn’t know the name of the nearest town or road. But finally we ended up well. And in the meantime we had a lot of fun, so the puncture wasn’t a real punishment 😂😜👍

Ich bin völlig geflesht von dem Amalfi-Video. Die Blickwinkel der 360°-Kamera zur Seite sind phantastisch. Als Biker hat man ja nur kurze Augenblicke, um zur Seite zu blicken - mit der GoPro hat man später die Gelegenheit, länger "den Strand zu bewundern". Für den Zuseher sind diese Sequenzen sehr auflockernd und machen Videos richtig lebendig. Auch der Blick direkt nach hinten öffnet ganz besondere Eindrücke. Das "Wegfahren" ist optisch sehr reizvoll, zeigt auch die anderen Mitfahrer mal nicht nur von hinten und die Landschaft öffnet sich, anstatt vorbei zu fliegen. Dazu die Melodie von Mai-Ly´s Stimme - ich bin begeistert. Wann kommen die Filme im TV? 🏆🏆🏆

@@manfredralffuchs6792 Danke schön Manfred 👍 Die 360-Kamera Aufnamen waren absolut eine “Must” für diesen Tour und sind sehr gut gelungen. Der normale GoPro wollte auf einmal nicht mehr aufstarten, deshalb kein Sprach mehr zu den 360-er. Aber nicht schlimm, kann man sich völlig begeistern lassen von den schönen Aussichten. Bei dir haben wir diesen Punkt genau getroffen, so zu hören 😜👍

Hallo jullie drietjes, wat een mooie dromerige video is dit geworden. De Amalfi kust is de parel van Italië en zeer zeker de moeite waard om daar opkwam tijd door te brengen. Maar ja, wat een drukte daar 😱 kan me voorstellenden jullie niet gestopt zijn om te gaan cultuur snuiven. Trouwens hebben jullie je binnen-motorpak-zwemles gehaald😂ik kan me voorstellen hoe warm die pakken waren bij 35 graden. Jaren geleden liepen de beren inderdaad over de weg. Het was dan oppassen. Mooi stekkie gevonden voor de nacht. Top video en heel erg benieuwd naar de volgende episode. ✌🏻

Dank je wel Leo. Inderdaad, prachtig die Amalfikust. We waren echt te moe om in Amalfi te gaan wandelen, was ook erg warm. Gelukkig hadden we goed vocht-opnemend ondergoed aan, anders hadden we echt onze zwemdiploma's in het motorpak kunnen halen. 😂 Zowel in Italië als in Spanje zijn we nog nooit beren tegen gekomen. Ook nog nooit everzwijnen. Ze zullen tegenwoordig wel een beetje wegblijven bij de drukkere punten, of er zijn er gewoon niet veel meer. Bij zonsondergang verwacht je ze eigenlijk wel een beetje te zien. Volgende episode wordt een leuke, denken we... 😜

@@EdiBikeLife Ja, jammer van de drukte, want de weg op zichzelf is adembenemend mooi. Wij waren er op een gegeven moment ook een beetje klaar mee, want het was ook nog eens broeiend warm. We hadden zelfs geen fut meer om in Amalfi rond te lopen. Het was ook een hele opluchting, toen we weer een beetje door konden rijden. Normaalgesproken zou de rit ongeveer 6 tot 7 uur in beslag hebben genomen, het waren er 11! Maar toch heel blij, dat we het eens gezien hebben, toch de moeite waard. Onze overnachtingsplek lag inderdaad heel afgelegen tussen wat heuvels. Totaal geen verkeer te horen, echt stil. De eigenaar was zelf ook motorrijder en heeft ons echt verwend. Was top daar! We hebben maar amper 25% van onze opnamen langs de Amalfikust in de video verwerkt. Maar doordat veel stapvoets ging of met lange wachttijden hebben we dat er uit geknipt. Volgende video wordt korter, maar wel leuk 😜

Absolutely stunning ride along that route. The views and the architecture are amazing. Those houses built on the cliff sides🤨, and that tree up on the hill over Amalfi looked like a big umbrella😂 Everywhere was so busy with tourists,I bet those buses struggle with some of those roads and bends? Beautiful video😂

@@Tojj29 Thank you! 👍 There are amazing structures indeed. We didn’t know where to look at during the whole coastline route, so many beautiful views. Yes, at some points buses had to struggle. And the worst thing, the people who don’t have the patience for that and don’t give them the needed space. 🫣 Beautiful, but very crowded roads.
