I have a dodge charger GT 2022. Would it be worth getting?
@Spader-J
@Spader-J 4 күн бұрын
Well I think the chargers are pretty powerful already but it could bring maybe up to 4mpg but it all depends on your driving habits and how often you drive. I drove about 120 miles to have the chip learn my driving patterns. If you want slightly improved performance I would say drive a little more aggressive on the highway when merging and calmly cruising in the city.

@Spader-J Ай бұрын
@@kingjoker1759 when you say front do you mean the background of the interface for the screen or the interior layout of the car? If anything it is the 5.7 hemi 2021 rt Durango. I'm not sure if all the Durango models have the same layout. I know different trims and years are slightly different as far as radio screen size or interior stitching and color scheme. Also the engine size or tire size or moon roof or other specific cosmetic things such as stripes or hoods and tail lights. I have the larger screen which is how the car came originally with the SRT hood since it is the 5.7 hemi.

@@nathantimermanis6168 well when I did the service brake option on the menu for the car I did select it again so the car knew to secure the emergency brakes as well. So once your done replacing your pads and rotors you need to close your master cylinder cap then select to turn off the service brakes then pump your brakes until it comes stiff again. Then your good. Just keep track of the date you changed them and pay attention to the wear with the months to come until your next change.

Oil changes every 4500 miles and I use 5x20 - yes my mpg took a small hit, but my engine is 428000 purs like a kitten. Hello, Question: There’s no need to have the car on the brake service mode setting while bleeding the system; right? I just want to make sure. I just replaced the calipers and apparently, since one of the pistons was broken, the caliper loss fluid; there’s air in the lines.
@Spader-J
@Spader-J 9 ай бұрын
No. Brake service is to take care of the brakes. It makes a winding sound but it just losens something to make the rotor and brake replacement easier. The nipple for the bleeder is on caliper. Having air in your line will give you a squishy pedal. If it gets worse I recommend taking it to a mechanic and let them know so your line doesn't burst from the pressure

It also registers your driving pattern so I did notice a slight change in my gear length. Maximum saving came from driving around on cruise control for highway and manual driving in the city. Driving it sporty and eco will also give you a different feel but it will adjust itself accordingly. I usually reset the trip meter to better understand the mileage per trip.
