This your practice made me to change my mechanic, I do servicing myself.... I just bought the pull started for my generator, unfortunately i was busy so I can't do the servicing myself. I called my engineer only for him to return the generator, the newly bought pull started don scratch finish. I was angry.... It just struck my mind now seeing this video... Dey put carton or soft clothe for ground...

@jaywealthmechanics9285 nothing is wrong with the pull start, he ended up scratching the pull starter in the course of servicing the generator just like you did in the video.. the pull starter was newly bought, shinny and sparking yellow

The pushrod cut into the left edge of the valve plate & found the exhaust mount screw for exhaust valve was loose, & the exhaust valve mount screw wont stay screwed into the head. Push rod not bent. Replaced plate & screw with no fix. What's causing that?

Aren't you suppose to be on the compression stroke before adjusting the rocker arms? At least that's what I learned from watching multiple videos on the subject. I do like the razor blader blade method, I had to buy a feeler gauge.
