It's hard to believe that you grew actual Seminole pumpkins as that variety's exterior color is not orange. Seminole pumpkins are green with variations of light green or tan. The pulp is orange and delicious. I still grow Seminole pumpkins. I researched online about Seminole pumpkins and all legitimate sites show the same green varigated pumpkins. I'm pretty sure you grew a different variety. Even the shape and size is different than a Seminole pumpkin.

Seminole pumpkins are best grown direct seed sown in a big pile of straight compost. Loosen the soil beneath it for deep root growth. They are heavy feeders and will easily grow almost a foot a day.

I was given a Seminole pumpkin and told it was a Seminole Pumpkin. From that I saved seeds and grew a Seminole pumpkins. I too have done plenty of research on them and had amazing success growing them. They grow in all shapes and sizes and you can harvest them when they are at a green and tan. There are a lot of different names and varieties out there depending on how they were pollinated across pollinated. I'm here to help others in no way an I an expert.

I hope and pray you find your way back to good health. I have fibromyalgia which showed up around 40. I'm 57 now (in Brevard) and take nothing for it. Gardening is my physical therapy but also organic food. I use a lot of Spearmint/,Roselle tea for inflammation (Moringa too)

Gardening with an autoimmune disease is not easy. I have lupus and the last few years the sun/heat/humidity sensitivity has worsened. UV sensitivity is something to take seriously. I have had to change the time of day I'm outside. I take my husband to work at 3 am so as soon as I'm fully awake im outside with a head lamp. Also geow things that help like fenugreek/ methi, nettle... Fenugreek/methi is amazing for all kinds of things including skin, reproductive for both men and women, thyroid, augar level stabilizer, blood pressure stabilizer, immune health.... It also tastes like maple syrup. Both seeds and whole plant is edible and usable. It's used i. Indian dishes alot.

I’m sorry about your health issues. May God heal you and restore your health. I’m in Zone 9A in Northwest Florida, and watch your channel for ideas for my sub-tropical climate. I’m 68 and have been gardening most of my life. I know at some point e point I won’t be able to garden as much and that will be difficult to deal with. I love the watering grid. I have 7 raised beds and several large containers and watering takes more time than any other garden chore.

Just started following a few months ago I been gardening for years but first time gardening here in north Florida zone 9b getting different ideas on what grows good at what time of the year never used raised beds always seeded right into the ground as our soil was very good used little to no fertilizer or amendments loving the raised beds here started 2 months late and the heat lots of plants went into survival mode lost a few but bouncing back now that it's cooling off. Planted okra, cucumbers, pak choi, brussel sprouts and getting ready to plant collar greens along with the tomato plants that are starting to fruit finally along with the hot and sweet peppers got radishes just peeking through one thing I did invest is a greenhouse 20×10×8 just gonna put it up around the raised beds and then add more beds wanna to do a sweet potato patch in one bed and gonna use grow bags for watermelons. Very nice garden. Need to start fresh herbs myself! Happy Gardening!

I'm sorry this isn't working for you. I've never heard of ants that like protein. This is what we use for all ants on our property and around our home. Here are some other techniques you can try. They have not worked for me but they may work for you. Poor boiling water over the ant pile. Sprinkle grits or try cinnamon around the pile. They may work for your protein ants.... Good luck!!

The plant that’s in your 7 tier greenstalk that you said you just stuck a piece in but didn’t know what it was, looks just like my Wondering Jew plant (the non purple one), pretty sure that’s what it is. It will just keep growing as long as conditions are right. I have to give mine a haircut every once in a while.

Yes, that is correct. I made the mistake by cutting them and then trying to plant. It didn't work. Let them stay attached to the mother plant until they grow roots. Thank you for your comment❤️

Those flowers in pink color are called vinca ,they can reseed themselves! They get really big ,I grew s lot of them in bunches and they were beautiful but later all died! The weather has become so hot a lot of the plants that used to do really well they don’t anymore !! I live in S Florida zond 10,and I do tons of gardening and I really had to rethink what plants to buy that will last because I do plant huge islands and areas of plants and ig cost me a fortune to replace the plants twice a year! Because I lovd flowers so much,so I m buying pkants that I know that will be around w flowers big not annuals or some perennials I know will die in a matter of months
