Unfortunately I do not live at the home where I made this video. If I recall correctly the orientation is slightly different on the new board but the identification of where the new wires go should match.

Your needle is in backwards. the groove/;slot in the needle is to the left. The eye cut away to the right. the cut away is so the hook can p0ass the eye of the needle without touching. it works for a while but you'll get much better results doing it right.

I know that the blower delay switch on the newer furnaces is for how long the blower will stay on after the burner shuts off, not before coming on.

The blower should run for a good minute or two as a safety loop when your furnace does not light. Clears our any unburnt gas out the exhaust.

Same outdoor heater here. My primary problem was the tilt switch. I just checked it by bypassing it with a wire and everything worked fine after that. I also think my pressure regulator may have been slightly stuck, as after tapping it with a piece of wood, the pilot light flame quality improved significantly.

Sounds like a timing issue. If the lower assembly is not catching the loop of the thread created by the initial upstroke of the needle it will fail and get bound up.

Great video. Any instruction on how to fix the bobbin pressure arm? The manual doesn't tell you how to fix it. Right now the arm doesn't fully snap back against the bobbin winder shaft, thus it won't spin to wind the thread around the bobbin. I (stupidly) removed the arm, put it back but now it won't work right. Any help?
@AllanPhillips00 Жыл бұрын
I’ll take a look and see what I find
@adamjones-ps Жыл бұрын
@@AllanPhillips00 I appreciate it. The machine isn't even mine, yet I do all the sewing on it. I'm not stupid but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to fix it. The instructions don't make sense on tighten this or loosen that to affect either the amount of thread spun onto the bobbin. The one screw looks like to me, that all it does is tightened the bobbin pressure arm onto the pin, yet the instructions say its an adjustment screw. If you loosen it, it won't hold. If you tighten it, grabs hold of the pin and rotates as it should. The other smaller arm which is attached to the bobbin pressure arm, again says loosen or tighten, yet all does is lock it into position. It has a hole on top that slips over the pin. Regardless, I hope you can help me. Otherwise, I'll have to take the machine apart, drives hours away to a Consew manufacture, and probably get charged an arm and leg to get it right.
@mikematherly6092 Жыл бұрын
video was very helpful but still having issues as no matter how we adjust , the needle still has a slight interference. The thread loop isn't big enough that the hook picks it up and bobbin won't pick up
@AllanPhillips00 Жыл бұрын
HI Mike, are you trying to grab the loop of thread with the bobbin hook on the needle upstroke? This point creates the slight slack in the thread. the exact timing takes a bit of experimentaion to get right. There is about a 5-10 degree window of rotational timing to get it right.

So it was a gas valve on my York 80, my contractor could turn it manually by passing the board and it would turn on and you can smell the gas coming out. He told me it's not the valve but with the board AC 24 volts, it would not open. He ended up replacing my gas valve on my York 80. Finally after a month of intermittent turn on and turn off. My unit is about 21 years old now.
