That is pretty sad and terrible. They knew they weren't going to make it out of their alive. That's a horrible way to go.

That must have been terrifying to go through back in 1912, but might have been fun as hell to reenact in 1997

I always LOVED this scene....the ridiculous and fun nature of this story and spoof...omg I couldn't stop laughing 😂 It's a shame they didn't have the killer or anything like this in the other movies a sequel to this story and dynamic would have been great!

directors commentary noted with pride that 6 people drowned in the shooting of this scene and a total of 126 lives were lost during the shooting of the entire movie. you don't see that kind of devotion to modern movies anymore.

Back when entertainment didn't look like fake plastic bullshit constantly, seriously... I can't stand the slop that is pumped out these days, movies, tv series, all of it is so clean and fake looking, can't stand it.

I find it funny that the only reason this movie got produced...is because David Cameron wanted an excuse to visit the real titanic. Reason why Avatar was created? David Cameron wanted to pioneer the first fully virtual movie with thr proprietary technollogy that was invented to allow it to happen. The guys not a director...hes an explorer. Genuinely.

he made sure all of the actors and stunt people were both trained professionals and he did have several scuba divers around the scene of the staircase to ensure no lives were lost or threatened

God I love practical effects. They are way more magical than CGI and look so much more real because they are!! Movies that had mostly practical effects and used CGI sparingly when practical effects were impossible, thise were peak movies.
