Is your wall is a plaster wall or brick wall? Anyway, you've done a great job and I learned a lot from this!

I set out to look for a video to do the same thing for my staircase and then I found your video and it inspires me to do it now lol my staircase goes straight up and there’s a lot of stairs and a lot of wall. Just wondering how you learned to do exact cuts for corners for your squares? What did you use to cut those angles? I wish through your video, you explained all of that because I’m sure it’s easier to put squares on the wall like you did in your parents room then the angled squares going upstairs. before and after are so wonderful, you did a great job

You need to put the bead board on the ceiling and paint it the dark green, too.

The coving is perfect for your ceiling height. Anything more substantial would be touching the top of your door architraves.

Hi Shade, I love this bathroom so much and we have actually gone for the same floor tiles (just the orange variant!). I can see you linked the Ivory grout colour but believe you are explaining that you actually went for the Silver Grey option. Which one did you end up going for and would you have made the same decision in hindsight? I really love grout that is on the lighter side, but agree with you that cream tones might clash a bit.. Thanks so much in advance

I assembled mine with liquid nails on every screw and the backing board etc (just thin beads) so it’s not visible. Makes it SOOOOOOOO much stronger. Just have to be careful during assembly to not make a mess.

Great job,I would paint the coving the same colour, would look more cohesive. Have you thought of adding some ambient lighting on top of the wardrobes behind the coving?😉

Oh it's getting boring now....😃Everything you turn your hand to is just amazing, cracked it yet again. Glad you put a piece over the gap and the skirting finishes the project. Re painting, I would wait until spring and see how the room looks then, lighting wise. Long term Shade you should take an interior design course so if the influencer job doesn't last or you get fed up you have another career option. All the designs you have come up with in this and your last house have been unique. "Shade Interiors "really does have a good ring to it? Or what about online courses that people subscribe to? Have a great Christmas, Rob too of course.

Hello Shade, you’re so clever with your design ideas! Such an inspiration! I think the dark chocolate would look great on your island but im not sure of the tones matching your wardrobes? Difficult to tell on a video. ( Im still in love with that chocolate shade). Merry Christmas to you and your hubby!

Hi Shade, what a brilliant idea! I would keep the island light, in order not to make the room darker. The handles on the wardrobe and the island are black and the shelf is dark as well, I think the island as it is ties nicely with the wall and the wardrobe.
