This was my first video tutorial that I made as a beginner. I was still learning to get the hang of things like editing and to incorporate the pattern (text) into the video. Only in my newer videos have I started talking to make the experience even better and easier for people to follow along.😊

I don’t think it would be long enough for a dauschaund so you will need to do a few adjustments. First I would suggest doing the collar part normal like the tutorial and then switch to 5mm crochet hook when doing the body part, seeing that the chest is just a little bit bigger than the sweaters chest measurements. Then right after you have done the spaces for the legs, still with 5mm crochet hook, continue just doing the dc rounds until you get to the end of the dogs rib cage, which will then be the beginning of the dog’s stomach. (I would not recommend that you decrease at the smaller back part for the dog as it can be difficult to put the sweater on) After that you are going to do the Tail of Sweater. Switch back to 4mm crochet hook and do a couple of dc rows without the decreases. When you are just a little halfway before reaching the dog’s tail, continue to do the pattern normal with the decreases at the side. I hope this helps☺️

⁠@@crochetithi sorry I already started and used a 4mm, I added a round of increase to 12dc inc 1, I have now done the leg holes and did 7 rows of 1dc in each stitch, I’m now onto the tail part first row of that, will that work that way? I can start again it hasn’t taken me very long to do it
