Bingo. Well said. But remember there are so many more much dumber than those 2 who watch and enjoy this trash that's keeps such talentless people in work... sigh! But again, spot on with that comment. 👍

Sir Roger Moore or the 'Roj' was my favourite Bond. His era was perfect, great themes, great villains, funny and with the most beautiful women.

1:57 producer! You really gotta work on your timing of the presenter's voice. This is one of the worst examples I've seen/heard!

You never really know who you are going to touch with your music, or how. This mournful song still emanates from a sad cave of discovery of my childhood, around 8, at a time when I really realised my mum and dad were gonna die. And now, at 62 (me), they both have; mum just 3 months ago. My closest friend, back then in 1971, would jokingly shake a fist at the part "I'll give everything that you gave to me". She committed suicide 8 years later. I cannot hear that song without thinking of that and, ofc, my own mum. So this somewhat cheesy, somewhat sad, somewhat beautiful song is almost an unbearable but compulsive religious experience, hahaha.

This splendid hymn by Mrs. Bernice Johnson Reagon (who left us unjustly in July of this year at the height of her 82 years dedicated to life) was composed almost thirty years ago and is a lesson. The interpretation and arrangement imposed by Mister Thomas Jones Woodward is a lesson in feeling and emotion, which he learned from the death of his beloved Melinda, which made him almost give up on his magnificent career. And like a phoenix rising again in “Surrounded by Time”, an emblematic title. Just like Dr. Bea Reagon was throughout her life, Sir Tom Jones is not selfish, on the contrary, he is very generous, offering us this outfit dedicated to the “kids” who were deprived of their lives in homage to the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings to combat Fascism and Nazism that was spreading throughout the world (it still does, but with less force, and my uncle Emílio Antonio dos Santos was part of it and fortunately came back alive). Empathy is this. I remember that at the time the boy from Treforest was celebrating his 84th birthday by walking around this Planet and stealing a quote from his friend Stevie Wonder, who is part of the collective of spectacular human beings with Lionel Ritchie, Bob Geldof, Diana Ross, Jennifer Hudson among others: “I will be waiting for the next 80 years.” CãRiùá TaTaRaNa

Great War Unknowns were not the first to be honored so. Korea establish a monument to war Unknowns in 1592. Denmark established a monument to a single Unknown in 1849. France, and the UK was the first to bury an Unknown (after leaving behind all their Great War dead). The U.S. in 1921.
