If you want to be able to take it near water like that, then you didnt make a mistake. You have to keep it up, itle eventually get used to it, and bring some treats with you, help it calm down, and when it starts doing good reward with treat. Dont give up on the cute thing, it just has to learn :3

It wasn't a mistake. He's young and the more you expose him the more comfortable and confident he will get. I did the same with my cat. She's a year and a half and she loves going places but some things still startle her, but with work and patience and a lot of encouragement she gets used to things.

Interesting perspective! I've been wanting to make a clip like this for a long time, especially for the young ones. A while back, I wrote a set of rules, or a code, and the first one is: Don’t do what everyone else is doing. As you mentioned, most people think: I work, therefore I deserve (or need) to be rewarded. The less someone enjoys their job, the more they feel the need to do something fun-usually spending money-to balance it out. However, it takes a tremendous amount of self-discipline to do your job without complaint and save every penny (and invest it, preferably in real estate). Here in Europe, and I imagine it's the same in the US and Canada, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to own a home, especially on your own. In my country, only 3% of people manage to do so. The alternative is, if you can pull it off, instead of living in the home you buy, you rent it out. The rent you receive covers your mortgage. Now you have two income streams paying down the mortgage. After fifteen or twenty years, once the house is paid off, you can retire-ideally in a country like those in South America. If you can create a situation where you earn in dollars or euros while living in a country with a weaker currency, you can live very comfortably and with near absolute freedom. (especially if you can work with your hands, which unfortunately I cannot.) It’s simple to understand and nearly foolproof, but it requires you to do what almost no one else is doing. Most people, when they buy a home, plan to live there. They have relationships, children, hobbies, and (high) fixed monthly costs, which makes it hard to save money. Society tends to look down on those who live at home, drive older cars, avoid vacations, or skip buying expensive things like clothing-especially if you’re a man. But if you live frugally for twenty years (from ages 20 to 40), save every penny, and buy a home, you can then live off the rental income in a more affordable country. On the other hand, most people spend heavily from their twenties into their thirties and end up working the rest of their lives (now until age 68) trying to pay off what they think they have acquired. If they go through a divorce or breakup, they often lose their house and have to start all over. (as neither one can afford owning a home on their own.) As many are too old by then to receive a new mortgage (as it takes +30 years to pay off usually), they are forced to rent a small/expensive place and end up never improving or escaping their station. Or so it seems, at least in my experience. In any case, I wish you well and good luck!

I shortened my comment because speaking my mind online rarely bodes well and often feels akin to digging my own grave. I actually think it's very rare and surprising to encounter someone with views that are a lot like my own. There's no doubt much more than meets the eye, and that should be admired and cherished. When we spend a moment actually listening to someone we like, whatever disagreements we might have often become irrelevant. In a world so quick to judge and divide, those moments become even more precious. I wish you nothing but the best!

Great video! I'd like to add my thoughts as I've been in this stage of life before. Hope it helps any other viewers. 2:00 Find ways to make your job worth going to (to you), however way you can mentally frame it. What's better than doing what you love, is to love what you do, whatever that may be. Being in an office for 8 hours can be fun, commuting can be fun. Make it worthwhile for you. 3:00 Usually if you feel stuck at your job, it's because you don't have the capabilities, skills, knowledge, or awareness to move to a better prospect. There's a lot of people who will tell you the best place to save and invest is in stocks or real estate, but what's overlooked and much more important (because it's step 0) is to save and invest in yourself. If you're earning $100 a day and saving 30%, you'll still save more money if you level up, earn $400 a day and save 10%. 4:00 If you're making the job worth it for you, you will not have to do the bare minimum, in fact if there's something to practice at work (physical/social skills, etc.) then it makes more sense to go above and beyond for YOUR goals that juuust so happen to align with the company's. Summer touches on this next point very nicely, so it's worth it to reiterate that the premise is that by "doing the minimum" you're keeping your brain active towards your personal goals, not shutting your brain off entirely during work. There's nothing worse than shutting off your brain every day for 8-9 hours. That's how you get stuck. I want everyone to know that this is an excellent video full of gold nuggets. Amazing. Every minute there is something new to talk about. 5:00 Incredibly well said. I think everyone should listen to 4:39 to 5:39 at least twice. When I was working an actual 9-5 in the office I thought I had no time so I didn't do anything outside of work. That wasn't true, I simply was wasting all of my time on random things like watching KZbin, etc. Nowadays I work 10-14 hours a day, 5-6 days a week and I still do things outside of work like making videos, attending community college, and the like. It may seem impossible. I know, I was there too. Here's something I like to tell myself: Poor people account for their time by weekends. Comfortable people account their time by the day. Millionaires account for their time by the hour. Billionaires account for their time by the minute. 6:00 Exactly. Everything is a growth opportunity. My life eventually had me cross paths with a highly aggressive narcissist for an extended time, and it was incredibly stressful (and by that I mean agonizing and terrifying), but I was able to reframe that and be really glad that the person came into my life because now I am aware that highly aggressive narcissists really do exist and I know how to watch out for them and deal with them now. 7:00 Your job wants your time and your energy. The more they are able to take all of it, the less likely you are to leave. In order to win, you need to either give less, or have more to give. Following my trend of advocating leveling up, I recommend finding ways to be capable of giving more. Let thy cup overflow. And that comes from a great mental attitude, which is a skill. This video deserves more views, absolutely. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Summer!
