@@formulacoolade already did and gave the beta keys to my friends. Halo/Destiny movement and gunplay, yes please. Where else can you get that, Halo and Destiny are dead. Open beta is coming too, so you don't have to pay anything to try the game out.

The fact that it's paid is an enticing factor. It might not be to player who doesn't spend much money but it is to people who do spend money. There's also a open beta that can prove to these people whether the game is good or not.

@@SDFutureMusic I'm definitely going to try the Beta. I'm hoping that since it is paid that it will do more than the other F2P hero shooters. I hope there are more regular updates and the game doesn't focus on grinding. Splatoon 2 was one of my most fun moments playing a game so I'm not fully against a paid ongoing game. I think it is more I keep looking at Marvel Heroes and it looks a lot more interesting while being free. Helldivers 2 also looks like a ton of fun, but I don't have friends to play.

It's not that hard bro. It's a "difficult" game for mainstream casual players. If you want real difficulty, go play any Ninja Gaiden on hard mode. Even Razor's Edge on normal difficulty is harder than Elden Ring.

I think it's great when developers have the space to talk about their games. Feels much more human this way.

It does everything different. It's not a locked role type of shooter, like Overwatch. It has top in class gunplay, which you literally can't say for 98% of FPS on the market. Y'all who says this game is too similar to competition have clearly never played an FPS in your life except for Overwatch, which this game couldn't be more different. R6, Valorant, XDefiant, Overwatch are all hero shooters and yet they're ALL different genres of FPS.

The gunplay is literally miles better than Overwatch and most hero shooters. And this game has no ultimates unlike every other one in the genre

Look at the finals!!! It’s one of the best free to play fps games: it’s different, it’s fast, you need skill, learning curve is big and it feels amazing and still low Playerbase you ask why? Because the most players want something they already know. Concord is mixed with:destiny, overwatch. If you are a gamer play the beta you will see before you judge a game that you never played. Don’t listen to all these KZbinrs because the most of them swimming with the wave! Just try the beta and if you don’t like it leave and play something else. I’m happy to play a game like this it looks for me interesting.

There are definitely a lot of other hero shooters and PVP shooters around right now, but VERY few of them are aiming to have that Arena-shooter gameplay style that Halo evolved from earlier games like Quake. Destiny is the main game that offers that at the moment, but has so much additional baggage attached that can be heavily offputting to newcomers. Most of the other popular games right now are aiming for more of a MOBA structure (overwatch, Rivals) tactical CS style (Valorant) or are dipping into other genres like battle royale or extraction. I'm somebody that enjoys hero shooters, but grew up loving arena shooters. So this definitely has some heavy appeal to me and looks to be tackling an itch that nothing else is quite scratching right now!

We have plenty of single player games we don't need more

@@Thepvpguy128 a game for providing just a pvp experience needs to have build its cosmos: characters and lore. Marvel rivals already had done it through the comics , movies and shows . If the ones who manage concord dont want for less than 1000 players to play it, they need to produce a mini story mode.

@grgamer8470 apex For example doesn't have any story mode to it and it gets thousands of players so you are wrong.

@@Thepvpguy128 they explain every character in every trailer thought. There was a free to play game with mechs called " Hawken" ( it still exists in a smaller form at ps store) that didnt need to provide back story to play and enjoy the mech battles. There also was a free to play spaceship battle game called " Dreadnought". The specific game needed the pve mode but never had it and they shut it down too.

@@Thepvpguy128 I never said PVP is not a thriving gameplay style/genre, I specifically said F2P BRs/Hero Shooters that are like MHUR, GunEvo, GBO2, etc, (which are died or dying) will die out quick because it will most likely be a meh game or monetization heavy and die that way.
