Do you know what vehicles wiper motor this is and does it come with the gearbox?

Just realized I have a old garage door motor sitting in the crawl space. I back engineered the boring gun flame thrower from the 4 min video, I’m sure I can whip up something from this one too. Thank you so much for making this video. The 1/8 304 media alone is $75 for 5 pounds and I don’t feel like spending $200 for a tumbler and media both. Again thank you for this video.

Certo che a rendere i bossoli lucidi che sono già puliti È molto facile fai vedere un video dove inserisci i bossoli sporchi e unti non quelli già puliti

This is similar to what I made. This is mine. I use an 8 amp 120 VAC- 12/24 VAC center tap transformer, with a bridge rectifier to convert from AC to DC, and a DPDT toggle switch, with a center off position, to drive the motor forward/reverse. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIG3pq2nds1gq9U

Why nobody uses an old front loader washing maschine? It has all the mechanics, all the pumps and pipes for water management and used ones are cheap as dirt ...

How do you like the size and if you had extra funds would you go larger or stay that size ? Asking for self . Also could you run a 24 left 24 center and 27 right side ? If you happen to know

After watching this build video, I made one just like it with the only exception being I used 3/4 cabinet grade plywood for the frame/mount. Why? Because I had it on hand. It has performed well.

@hz87s4 жыл бұрын
It's running of a 12v 5 amp power supply, it only draws about 2.3 amps.

They are rubber strips, I've seen them last years with only a little wear on other tumblers I've made.

Quality! I built one of these a few years ago, using a windscreen wiper motor from an old Ford Colt... I believe I got the idea from your first tumbler video

I have built one of these units and the problem is the motors just do not last very long. The first one was a motor from a windshield wiper and the second was of a similar design. Neither unit lasted longer then 6 months. The first motor cost $25 and the second was $35. The first worked until one day it just stop working, something happen to the motor. The second wear out the worm gear. There was grease in it but it seems after a while the gear was worn of the the gear and it failed. If you attempt to use this type of motor see if you can some how fill the gear case with motor oil. this is the one suggestion to maybe make the worm gear last long.

Followed your suggestions and design but used a Ford wiper motor, it didn't last and turned to fast. Got a Toyota Tercel wiper motor and it turn counter clockwise slow but fast clockwise. Do you have a wiring harness diagram to attain the slow clockwise rotation? I used 6" ABS end cap glued to clean out fitting and drilled hole in the screw cap with the end cap riding on the wheels. Still cleans well but turning too fast and don't want to burn out another wiper motor. Nice design and excellent concept.
