As an amateur screenwriter, I like writersolo. It's by the same people who made writer duet and it's free. The only caveat is that you get 3 projects max, but honestly, that's way better than the typical 1 project max. Also you have to manually save, which kind of sucks but eh. looking into fade-in and final draft. Software under $300 is my budget honestly.
@itsjameskmartin6 күн бұрын
That’s a good suggestion. I’ll have to look into writersolo.

Oh please majoshoujo animation has the most perfected magic system ever! It started in the 50’s! She has her magic wand and with that she makes the magic! The majority of shoujo usually has powers that not are of this world or only very few people in the world, there is a guardian … who teach the girl magic or it is her guard in this different world. She has a mission usually to save the world!, find something really important to return home, something important to improve her magic, etc. It is genre in Japan from Sally E i. The fifties and ongoing… About Dragon Ball. It is the story of Goku here he is a boy and he grows up in this series. In Dragon Ball Z he is an adult and has a son Gohan, and so on… then Gohan grows up and have a little girl. The first series was not big budget as Dragon Ball Z there you see a big change in the animation. Also older animation till 90’s it is hand made. The other is computer made, and a lot it is made in Korea now not in Japan because of the cost. So if you want to watch real Japanese made manga by hand then the 80’s and 90’s are your time to watch it. The art is totally different! Finally you can’t watch anime with dubs!!! It was awful! If you must at least watch it in latin american dub they have better voice actor that the horrible guys who did the dubs in English in the 80’s and 90’s. (Never Spanish from Spain is plain awful! And not French either they change too much all the names)

Hollywood quality has declined significantly since 2012 for a significant number of reasons, but the main reason is in the US the movie pipeline is a pipe and not a funnel. The number of projects which enter the pipe are first culled by the master of the universe in Hollywood. Those so called master fools live in a bubble, which means they have lost touch with the audience and the result is the disaster we are seeing now. In Japan the anime industry uses a funnel. The number of projects which are started are huge and they are then culled using feedback from customers, not an out of touch Hollywood executive or worst, a writer. A typical anime process is someone in the public would write an e-novel. If that e-novel was popular it would become a light novel. If the light novel was popular it could become an anime, or manga. By the time it gets to anima form it has already been tested by the public at least twice. Only the entertainment which is popular gets to the big screen, or is streamed. The other difference is in japan the light novels are converted into an anime as closely as possible. In Hollywood, when a popular novel is converted into the big screen, the Hollywood masters of the universe change it. I suppose they do this to justify their existence, but as their existence is generally negative it would be better if they just stayed out of the equation. A very good recent series on Netflix is Uncle from another world and Romantic Killer, both are both excellent.

I came from Hero Hei, I find it hilarious how Hollywood is scared of anime. Yet, they are becoming more money hungry and it looks like they are starting to do quantity over quality to maximize profits. Even disney movies have declined in quality and the MCU phase 4 absolutely sucks (except for No Way Home). Funny how the MCU used to take the world by storm after Infinity War, then after Endgame, the MCU has severely declined in quality and they have become so repetitive. Now to be fair, anime has also become repetitive, even in their titles like Reincarnation as a Slim, or Vending Machine, or sword, etc. But besides that, there are some really good anime that get really creative with their storytelling and special effects. However, one advantage movies have is the flexibility. You see, most anime episodes seem to always be almost exactly 23 minutes and 40 seconds for a reason. So anime studios need to plan each episode and in order to fit in that 23 minute and 40 second time frame. They do this by either stalling time by showing the environments and giving the viewer time to think while the characters are at pause, or they do this by rushing to fit some moments in the episode so it can squeeze into that timeframe. While hollywood movies, they can just be whatever time they want. But right now, I think anime wins my vote because hollywood movies are just so boring nowadays, they may have been very good in the past, but their greed led them to this downfall while anime has gotten better over the years.

Thank you so much. Until now, I've only wrote novels and short stories, but now I'm asked to write an audio drama and I have no idea what software to use. They send me an example and the sheet they send me looks a lot like a script for a screenplay - I’ve read the Resident Evil-Script by George A. Romero. So, maybe a scrip software is suitable for me.
