By 1944 the US had 87,000. Unless the UK and Germany sent like 20% of their airforce it is heavily unlikely that plane carrying the bomb would even cross. And at this point you need to get an aircraft carrier across the whole Atlantic ocean to be able to fly the plane across New York to unleash it. Germany in 1944 didn't even have aircraft carriers. The UK only had 83 across 7 continents. The US had 111 in 1944. Tell me how the fuck that nuclear weapon and that aircraft carrier somehow got near the New York bay, and how that bomber was able to hit New York successfully within the first try. Unless this Germany had like 3 times the industrial capacity of Nazi Germany at its peak (I doubt, considering it's less extremist and didn't commit atrocities to get to that level), there is no way Germany could carry a nuclear weapon across the Atlantic Ocean and hit New York. Man In The High Castle is probably more realistic than this.
