Hi Chase! I find myself using a hairspray when I'm getting close to wash day and am wearing it in a ponytail. Then, I like using Air Control. When I wear it down, I don't use any kind of hairspray or holding products.

Hi Drewand! Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight was one of my favorites as well! I find that the perfectly sleek does an excellent job with smoothing out the hair, but I do find that it leaves a bit more residue than the naturally straight. Personally, I think the Smooth Infusion Shampoo and Conditioner work better than the previous formula, and the Smooth Infusion Style Prep reformulation is fantastic. It's good for us to let Aveda know if there's something we really miss, they have brought discontinued products back before!

@@intagliosalon5331 does this product do the same thing as the naturally straight like loosening them tight curls and straighten hair instantly with a hair dryer and a straightener of your choice, i.e. a flat iron, straightening brushes and/or straightening combs?

@@drewandjeffers5695 Kasey Mendoza The Smooth Infusion Perfectly Sleek will instantly give your hair a smooth, sleek, and shiny finish when blow dried straight. It's made to fight humidity and give you first protection for approximately 3 days. It will not progressively loosen the curl in the hair like the naturally straight did.

@@intagliosalon5331 all right. So with all them tight curls how would this styling product straighten the hair without loosening the curls when you use a blow dryer and/or straightening tools?

@@drewandjeffers5695 This product is heat activated so you would want to use your favorite smoothing brush and blow dry it in for the best smoothing results. Depending on the density of your hair and the tightness of your curls/coils, you may need to flat iron it for desired effect. It will continue to provide heat protection and humidity protection for 72 hours. The difference is that this one does not progressively loosen your curl pattern like the naturally straight did.

My apologies on such a long Drewand. I thought I had responded. In my experience with this product, I don't find that it works the same as the naturally straight. It does a good job at giving an overall smooth and shiny appearance but the naturally straight progressively loosened the curl and this one does not.

Camomile has been a long-time favorite and "go to" product. I think you may find that Color Revival is a great replacement and has the added benefit of conditioning properties. If you do try it, I would be very interested to hear what you think. It has been well received by our guests.

Washing more often in the summer is a good practice. Sweat, humidity, oils, etc. can create excess build up. Sweat also brings salt to the surface which weakens hair and adds to hair fall. Keep that hair and scalp clean and dry!
