152mph to the 1/4? Boyd Bumbara has been 7.69 @181 with a stock sleeve aluminator. The mid plates make a huge difference for sure to brace the block.

I appreciate the info as always Andrew! Thanks bro. I have a 96gt ive been working on for awhile and i pulled the stock 2v out to put in a tubular k member. I have 2 options to put it back together. A 98 cobra ( complete but it has a broken crank and it cracked the plastics on a couple of the chain sliders and ive already gotten new molnar pwr addr rods and bearings for it..just would have to find a crank but everything else looks ok and i dont have a trans). I also have a 1971 351w seasoned short block that i would do a complete build on with a turbo 400 trans that i have. In ur opinion, which would you entertain for some street driving every now and then and alil small time grudge racing in my local area in the dmv? My goal is about 950hp on boost

When you said it was stock sleeves on 1320s video i damn near shit myself. You were keeping up with todd spiers billet coyote. And other cars with billet engines. Even if it did blow up on the next pass you made 200 passes at over 1200hp with a stock sleeve coyote. You were making us ford guys proud with the 2v but this is a different level. Congrats man can wait to see what you can do next season with a sleeved coyote. We know what they are capable of from brett and snot rocket.

2900 hp out of Snot Rocket is insane hp for such a simple, mostly factory parts. Coyotes are the SHT in my opinion.

Having a loose convertor is helping the longevity of the engine. Bet if there was a lockup the block will cry uncle.
