Cheers mate, I have to replace a pannel for a similar fence. Least this gives me insight as to how to do it. Most fences are the frameless however mine has the frames.

Glass is very unsafe for swimming pools, it is better to use acrylic

if it's a 900 wide shower why is the centre of the glass 870?

Elegant idea but they shoud use PU based adhesive, but not any kind of grout, especially not cementitious. Cementitious grout is too rigid and can start glass corrosion due to alkaline attack. Main trick is how to calculate dimentions of the channel to fix the certain height glass. Another trick that the silicon sealant will not have adhesion to that grout that means that there will be weak points where water will leak inside with all bad effects.

Absolutely insane and idiotic pouring grout into the channel to mount the glass panels. No future servicing is possible and it will be a nightmare to fix.. I prefer the wedge system that is available

looks great. I would however hate to replace a broken glass panel using that system! Digging the old grout out would be an painful job. I guess that's where the spigot system has its advantages with replacement sections verses a slight negative to the asthetics.

What material do you use to grout the glass? Cementitious Base or PU Base?

Ach du meine Güte...so einen scheiss habe ich noch nie gesehen! Wie richtet man die Scheibe im nachhinein? Wie ersetz man ein kaputt gegangenes Glas!!!! Wieso wird da nu ein ESG eingebaut?? Benötigt wird ein VSG!!! Finger weg von dem System!!!

You could slice it with a Stanley knife to remove old seal then clean and dry area thoroughly and re-seal.

Was that attached to a solid brick wall or brick veneer? Are the wall plugs tapped into anything solid behind the wall (like brick or timber), or do they just locate into the wall tile and villaboard only? Good vid. Cheers.
