A heads up since you loved The Wishing Game--I got an ARC of The Lost Story (her release coming out in July) and it is also absolutely phenomenal. Made me feel like a kid again, it was the best time, I so recommend

I’m curious when you read an actual book then switch over to finish in audio, do you always get the book right away from Libby? I wonder if waiting weeks for it would become an issue such as forgetting some of what you already read. Thanks. I’ve never done that but it sounds interesting for sure.
@delaneylynnesmithКүн бұрын
I only switch to audio if it’s available at that moment!!! Sometimes I’ll pick what book I read physically by when my audiobook hold comes in so I know I have the backup just in case!

I love this idea to choose a TBR. I guessed a couple of these because I’ve seen the books you have on your tbr 👀 hahaha. So I voted for those. July is a good month to read these!!! Summer vibes.

Many books redeem themselves in the end, a book shouldn't be rated or reviewed unless actually READ through to the end.

I totally do more than one book at once but it has to be different genres! Sometimes I’ll do like a romance, thriller and self help or nonfiction and then mood read. My mom yells at me and says I don’t get to enjoy the books wholeheartedly one at a time, BUT I think my adhd brain likes to draw out the books a little esp if it’s a 4-5 star book. And like you said I usually do an audio book and e book. But deff different genres so you don’t get details mixed up!

Try Sue Grafton’s V is for Vengeance for your V book or just the remainder of her alphabet series.

So many goodies in this video! Best book of 2024 for me... that's so tough! Probably Ruthless Vows. I didn't really like Divine Rivals (so many people compared it to Fourth Wing, which it is NOT like at all) but I wanted to read the second regardless to see what happens, and it was such a beautiful book, I'm so glad I picked it up. It's a very light on the fantasy side of things, but the romance is very sweet - I think they might be YA, but I'm not 100% on that! If you haven't read them and are still wanting to dip your toes into the fantasy genre a bit, it might be worth it!!

I didn't realize that SO many people rated books that they DNF! Like, that's WILD to me! Those one star reviews of Yours Truly need to get out though
