Brushless motors are more efficient longer lasting on the battery. Wahl is $100 cheaper and has the brushless motor, plus you can use it while charging. So I'd go with the Wahl.

I really enjoyed this video. I learned a lot about both sprays. I just happen to be looking up. Banish and Quicker Slicker for my new Maltese and found this video. I’ve seen a couple of years in the past and I went ahead and matched the subscribe button this evening.

You initially said welcome back to the channel, but I've never been on it before. You said you can not explain how useful this tool is but this video is all about explaining it. 😂

Iv just made it following and pausing step by step into 2 minutes and most of mine are not the same 😢. When you come to the next section and open a square out iv nothing but wonky triangles except one massive pony bandana. It looked so step by step as well 😢

Grooming since 2018, never used anything but Wahl, but I’m switching to Andis now. The KM cordless has given me nothing but problems since buying it in 2021.. I have gone through maybe 6 charging cords before finally convincing Wahl that my clipper was defective since purchase and then my new unit started having the same issues. You can’t even use the clipper while plugged in for long before it pops out on you.. SO frustrating. They just came out with another cordless clipper.. With the exact same crappy charging cord. So disappointing because I love the clipper when it works. Not gonna even attempt another Wahl clipper until they make one with a charging dock. They are not cheap and feels like I just threw my money away with the KM cordless. Save yourself the headache and get the Pulse.

Well you were certainly helpful to me,as I am new to grooming my standard myself. I had one before that died of bloat and was only 4 years old. The best dog I ever had for sure. The dog actually understood me and was able to make me laugh when I wasn’t in the mood. So my new puppy is going to be groomed by me, instead of every six weeks of taking him to a groomer and groomers are so busy that if something comes up and I can’t make my appointment, I’ve been told they don’t have another opening for two or three weeks from now. I’ve actually found other groomers because I always took him in completely cleaned up and brushed so they wouldn’t have to brush him hard and fast. I took good care of him because he was really my best friend. I also tipped very well. But it didn’t mean anything. So I’m learning all I can and bought everything from table to clipper oil. My five piece scissor set will be here today or tomorrow. I feel like those little pieces of crap scissors that come with the clippers are not what it will be like compared to the nice curved 8” precision set I’ve been missing out on. Thank you for sharing your expertise and knowledge with me. I’m going to practice what you taught me. ✌️👍🇺🇸

Thanks for the sound test. Little old, but reviews all over say the Wahl KM are quieter than the competition. Brushless motors are in fact quieter in operation as well. I'm not a pro, but want something that will last me years and take care of these 2 long haired cats I said I'd never own, dogs, and horses on occasion. KM10 seems like the price/value winner to me. It's a lot for a guy who won't be doing this for money, but buy once, cry once, and learning to do it the right way saves a lot more money in the long run. I'll be springing for the corded KM10.

So I have a boxer mix, I was told possibly mixed with Mastiff. Anyway she is short hair but boy oh boy does she shed a lot. I first purchased the furminator which really does amazing, but I’m wondering about how this would work, as I sometimes worry about the tines on the furminator hurting. I must say though it does get the hair out and it almost seems never ending because I can brush and brush and the hair keeps coming. I also have a pure boxer and while she does shed, it’s very tiny amounts.

Thank you so much! You have a fantastic ability to explain things clearly. I've been grooming my Shih Tzu for five years now and all this time I've been holding my scissors wrong and of course getting a less than satisfactory result. Annie's getting a bath as soon as I turn this off! I can hardly wait to practice. My only disappointment is that I see you provided this video three years ago. Think how fabulous a haircut Annie would be getting today if I'd seen it then! I'm going to subscribe. Undoubtedly there are lots more tips that will improve my skills.

Can someone tell me the exact measurement of the fabric? I cut 1 x 1 yard and folded it in half but it does not make any sense, I have much more fabric to cut off than in the video. Isnt the fabric square from start?

We have the exact same ones at the grooming shop where I work. They are ok, but I wouldn't trust them with an aggressive, large dog.

I was curious to what you think regards how they groom a dog. My boss has the Andis one that you just showed and she always gets more coat off with that clipper than the Wahl or Heineger.

You scissor legs, that in itself is a specialty. So many grooming shops say don't do that because it takes more time. I work in a grooming shop as a bather and pt groomer. Doing ft grooming in a shop that is not mine, I would not survive. I'm there for the practice and eventually want my own place. I also completed my grooming school this past December. I love to grow and learn more.
