I'm Cree, we were at war with the Dene for 100s maybe 1000s of years. And one thing I do not believe is they were scared of whatever lurked in those woods. We are all Native to these lands and can hunt them better than anything if we are in numbers, we are smart and can even trick bears, so idk if they were scared. Us Crees fear nothing, we only fear not dying a good death, a good death means a good fight! And even tho we were at war we are still brothers today, and this story kind of offends me.

I was in Liverpool in 2013. I actually experienced one of these time slips. Suddenly all the people , well not all,but some,mostly in their teenage years were wearing odd clothing. Nice but strange suits. Pointy toe boots that zipped up the back. Hair combed forward a bit shaggy looking,and a bit over the ears. These 4 guys had girls following them and acting silly,calling to them. They all seemed to know these guys names. John,Paul,George and the fourth guy had an odd name like dingo or bingo.

i am also a colonial, born in Victoria on Vancouver island. i have been up close to the top years back. i always wondered why the giant cross was at the top. I heard the cross was recently bent over and damaged. It could be because all Cowichan are re learning their true culture again, and the whole residential school horror. Thank you for this history lesson! I looked up the history after my friend who is full Cowichan blood told me about how the mtn was named. Haichka Big D

Relly enjoyed this video. I feel like I not only good solid information, but the storytelling was amazing. Fun Fact: Jack Ketchum also wrote a book (which is actually part 1 of a 3-part series) called Off Season. It was greatly inspired by the Sawney Bean story. You really start to notice about halfway through the book. This book contains, without a doubt, the most graphic and grotesque writing you will read though.

Having learned at a very young age that any abnormal experiences were to be kept to myself, I can say that it is very depressing and isolating to have endured something horrible, then feel like no one believes you. It must have been so much harder for this man in that time, especially when everyone in his community would have known him.
@moonlightlore90507 ай бұрын
Word spreads fast in small communities, and the inevitable rumor mill would eventually grow undeniably frustrating for Pier. You're absolutely right. Unfortunately, it may be best to keep such things to ones self instead of unleashing the flood gates of ridicule.

I am from Liverpool, and once in the 1980s I was walking up Bold Street, and seen a monk walking down Bold Street. He was dressed as a monk with his hood over his head, and sandals and a rope around his waste with what looked like a flat type cows bell attached to it. I’ve never been one to take drugs at all. And one this occasion I had not taken anything to drink at all. I looked at him because of course it was very unusual and also noticed nobody else seemed to even notice him. It was winter at the time, and cold. I also thought his feet must be freezing. This was the 1980s so it was well before any of this time slip stuff. He was walking to a corner, and I looked away for a brief second, and when I looked back he had disappeared. I thought he had gone around the corner but he disappeared far too fast to have done that. It was very unusual.

Gosh, that was a sad one. Imagine having someone do that to you in the first place, surviving it, then being dragged away and partially buried, then crawling all that way even with no true hope of making it. I wonder if Louis was known to have had a bit of a vengeful temper prior to this, if he thought killing his boss was the only way for him to cope with his impending dismissal.

I remember this. Think I was around 8 or so. It happened a little ways south of me, but all the parents were freaked out and would go around after it rained to make sure it was all just water. Some jerk poured those silica dessicant beads on the school playground, and we had to stay in for recess while it was investigated. I had family in Centralia at the time, which is close to Chehalis, and my aunt would call nightly to report on what she had learned that day. There wasn't much coverage of it on the local news (at least not what my parents watched) until quite a bit later

Bartenders putting date rape drugs in drinks, then another person tailing them when they leave the bar alone. We had a problem in San Francisco with bartenders targeting in this case women customers, spiking their drinks and then a second guy in the bar trying to take advantage of them. It’s a tag team.

I bet this is the main reason why farm animals around the world where being mutilated with all of their organs removed, the net was probably the tool they used to keep the animals quiet when the owners were asleep

Even if a few dinosaurs did survive the KT extinction event, there's no way they would look exactly the same as they did so many millions of years ago. I'd love to see an old-fashioned adventure novelist take the Kasai Rex idea and run wild with it, developing a new kind of menacing theropod perfectly suited to the deep jungle and have it menace a group of explorers.

@froginprogress85109 ай бұрын
That white line around the edge of the "dinosaur" always made me wonder what it had initially been. Papua New Guinea seems to me a more likely place for something to have remained alive, given how impossible it is for people to get into certain areas and fiddle with (aka kill everything) whatever dwells there.
