I relate to the "get the furnace hot enough" quote to much, but instead of my body, it's my brain, and its not PRODUCTIVE energy per say but good lord my mind consumes to much energy.

Um, actually... lactic acid can't exist in the body without your overall pH being too low to survive. It has a pKa of 3.87, which is to say, if you want a mixture of 50% lactic acid and 50% lactate, your body pH will need to be about 3.87. Since your body pH is *always* going to stay well above 6, the lactic acid in your body will always be in its base form, lactate. There's never lactic acid in your body.

I feel fer the strong man Brennan was talking about. I've been chroniclly ill my whole life and I have numerous food allergies, and on top of that my body doesn't digest well, so eatin is and always has been my least favorite thing in the world. I'm a generally positive person but when someone asks me "what's yer favorite food?" Or "what would make you happy to go out to get" I'm like, no food brings me joy, I eat to survive, it is the worst and most necessary chore I have to force myself to do daily...id rather clean my bathroom and fold laundry tbh. Sometimes I nap instead of eat lunch 😅

Doesn't Michael Phelps have a stupid huge lung capacity as well? I think that explains the low lactic acid thing. Muscles produce lactic acid when they're not getting enough oxygen to burn calories, so they fall back to anaerobically burning glucose, which produces lactic acid. Phelps's larger lung capacity means he's getting more oxygen into his bloodstream under heavy exertion, so his muscles are able to burn more calories aerobically, and he produces less lactic acid as a result.

So who wants to explain to them that every race, including humans, in D&D is up to the player to choose their ethnicity, human or not, and or the other color variations every race has, them choosing to play whatever race they choose is their choice, nothing is forced.

Brennan being aware of Brian Shaw, let alone discussing one of his videos, is not something I expected to happen ever. It feels like one tv show breaking the fourth wall and mentioning another tv show.

5:17 is where I realized Brennan visualizes a year the same as I do. Additionally, the mental clock goes through time so the "hand" traces a corkscrew through space.

I love the halflings hate the guy they're interviewing. White men and black men can be at the same table and play the same campaigns together. Same goes for opposite sex and trans people in general this is a fantasy role-play games everyone should be included everyone should be a part of it it unless you have Hate in Your Heart then you should go play by yourself

I thought Jasper did a wonderful job interviewing him. It was a very natural conversation. He let Brennan talk, and Brennan let him talk. People naturally talk over each other when they are conversing. Did you want to watch Brennan monologue the whole time????

What’s funny is i’ll go and play torment planescape, or the original boulders gate 1 or 2; but would never touch any of this stuff in a million years, as far as any modern approach as none of it suits me, ideologically or even from a basic interest perspective. What happens if i’m a clientele that prefers the original approach to fantasy, and the fact that it always had a right wing bent to it, which is why i’ve never indulged in sci fi…the home of space diplomacy and liberalism. Where can i turn to find fantasy escapism that’s uhhh let’s see, how about brutal? Realistic? Based in nature as nature is? With additional elements tossed in. Sorta like how war hammer 40k approaches the science fiction genre. Am i just incapable of finding anything? Or can i only get feelings based inclusivity in a game about orcs and elves?

This video should be titled: Wizards Of The Coast Executive Lies Through His Teeth For An Hour. It really sucks that WOTC doesn't respect their fans. They had such a good thing going, with magic and DnD. Now I don't even want to play magic anymore because I don't want to put any more of my money into this greedy company's pocket. They blatantly tried to STEAL content from people and absolve themselves of any legal liability. That was fucking evil. Wizards, with the way your games work, did you really think you could fool US with clever wordplay in an OGL contract? You've been training us to spot word traps since day one.

"A mask punching bonanza would be eyes wide shut as an action movie" def got jotted down in my DMing notes. Playing Pathfinder 1e, I already planned on throwing at my players in a more adult game a witch of the Tatterdemalion archetype in a culture that eschewed clothing for sculpted magical hair (think Bayonetta) and giving that encounter the added disquieting vibe of impassive masks and off-putting opulence before the violence starts sounds utterly delightful. Can't wait.

So now being of mixed race is racist. This is what I’ve posted on many videos from D&d beyond and I think all mixed race people should post similar. My parents where a mixed race couple in the 1970s when they both where looked at negatively for being together. My brothers and I are of mixed race descent of Spanish, Native American, and Scottish. So is it inherently racist to be of mixed race, or is it racist to claim my existence is inherently racist? Does your companies believe we should not mix races anymore? The removal of mixed races in D&d will have backlash that you can never undo. Anyone in D&d beyond and it’s parent companies wizards of the coast and hasbro who thinks my existence is inherently racist should be fired for racism.

I find it hilarious how all of this always comes around to the only thing that matters and anything in life now, isn't a product isn't happiness isn't anything but the color of your skin and what you like to get freaky with. Imagine if there was one person that could save the world from a massive asteroid but unfortunately that person was not the correct color for the rest of the people we had to choose someone who is not qualified simply because he checked all the boxes but not the ones that could stop the asteroid of course not cuz that's doesn't matter the world needs to burn but as long as it burns with the correct skin color and sexuality😂 we really live in a comical world in which genocide is welcomed as long as the correct boxes are checked. People fighting for equality have literally become the very thing they sought to destroy, and probably one of the most hilarious aspects is they clearly know because they'll go and accuse the others of being the Nazis while they themselves are trying to construct new Auschwitz. Well the fake concern for equality makes them feel better they can play D&D all they want there's plenty of other board games I will take my evil skin color to the plethora of other tabletop games that don't judge people for the color of their skin and what they want to f***😂.
