Just applied for a Master's in Information Systems a couple weeks ago! I wish I was knew about MIS as a freshman, it blends all the aspects of tech and business that I love (with a little less of the math). I started in computer science, then switched to political science (worst mistake of my life). I loved the coursework but it didn't prepare me for any real job or career. My entire life I wanted to work in tech, so I hope this master's really pulls through for me.

ISM has been around for decades. So, why are there only 9,000 graduates a year that? That sounds odd. That would make me concerned that there are not a lot of jobs in that field.

Hi, I'm currently interested in studying MIS in college. I enjoy programming and solving technical challenges and like the idea for working for a corporation I'll enjoy. However I'm wondering how much y'all use Al to do stuff in MIS related jobs. I'm not crazy about utilizing it because I think a reliance on artificial intelligence could get dangerous and I feel morally opposed to it. Hello sir, I wanted to get your opinion on an idea that I had regarding a BS in information systems. I was thinking about doing this free 20-week IT fundamentals training program called Npower. I would like to do the 20-week program will also doing my degree because the program helps you get certifications and job placements in helpdesk. I understand this will be really tough to do the program and school at the same time do you think it's necessary? I just really want to give myself the best option to find good jobs after I graduate.
