I also just started Med school and am struggeling to find my way of dokumenting. I currently summarize everything on Notion, but it takes sooo much of my time, that I'm falling behinde. Since you "only" put in questions into your notion wouldn't it be easier to do that with Anki, that already has a built in space repeticion systhem or what do you think is the benefit of notion?

in onenote you can also make links to other notes, in obsidian you can not draw or put other notes on top of text, is a big problem. in onenote you can format text easily, and only one mode, edit-view , export page , section or book in pdf, docx o webpage, the md format of obsidian is very limited, onenote also has web version, and the synchronization is better and easy comparing the two free products, in obsidian you can not move pieces of text with drag and drop in separate blocks, is very limited.

All beginners should choose wordpress with their eyes closed Trust me wordpress is the best

Notion was my favorite because i could access and edit everything in any device since it is connected to a cloud (so it doesn't use the internal storage of my devices) but now it needs to pay so im about to transfer ALL my stuff (that I've been writing since 2020) to another app😭😭😭😭

OneNote is really good, I use id for years. But for me it seems like they don‘t wanna make some new updates anymore. I love it for its simplicity but sometimes i require a little bit more intelligent Tables where you can merge cells or make some filters or sorting the order.. i know that you can include the Excel inside a note but you can‘t work with it on your iphone for example. It is also time-consuming to make a table of content. Or it is not possible to make a sheet also a max width but the length should be dependent on the content, like it is in Apple Note. They have allready knowledge among their products like world, excel and so on, to implement in OneNote. They should at least allow the users to choose between simplecity to generate quick notes and a more intelligent one to allow to have something like a database, wich can be also used for example in Iphone.

And what about OneNote vs Obsidian? Does OneNote stores all your data in the MS Cloud? IF yes, I see a risk here, like in Notion!!

I've started using notion the past few days after using OneNote for a few years and I find it MUCH more helpful in many ways and I love the customizability

I really wanted to like Notion, I tried multiple times because I'd like to use some of the advanced features like connections to other apps, and I liked the visual look of how people set it up. However, I've always reverted back to OneNote for the complete opposite of what you have said. I found Notion way too unstructured and overwhelming. It gives too much freedom to the point where it just wasted my time. OneNote has brilliant features (and I mainly use it on a MacBook which doesn't have as many features as the Windows version - which I use at work). It actually gives you a structure so you don't need to waste mental effort thinking about it if you don't want to, but has the same ability to navigate around in the exact same way you have just displayed in Notion. It can be flexible if you want it to be or a simple useful tool if you need it to be :) Plus it's free, although most people have the premium version through work/school.. Aaaand you can take notes wherever in the world you are - internet or not! I supposedly have severe adhd and after years of physical planners and endless apps that never worked, OneNote came to my rescue! It did take me around 6 months of just occasionally using it through work to finally understand its capabilities though, as I never initially gave it credit!
