Hi. I have two problems using Notion, and I've not been able to find a solution. 1. It has a few fonts, and it's not possible to add my favorite fonts. 2. Although its tables have many features, I can't insert a simple table like what is in Ms word and Onenote. This way, I'm forced to use complicated tables.

I’ll have a look at these problems🤔

@@amirhosseinizand8751 Unfortunately I didn't find any 'easy' solutions to your problems. To your first problem, it would be possible to add additional fonts to the three given 'notion fonts' by using notion enhancer. Here is a link to do it step by step: www.reddit.com/r/Notion/comments/hvfy2s/customize_notion_1_how_to_change_font_with_notion/ To your second problem, I didn't find any solutions, but I think Notion will bring out the "simple Table" someday as many people are asking for it (www.reddit.com/r/Notion/comments/9j3mis/insert_simple_table_feature/). Wish you a lot of success with your work!

@@amirhosseinizand8751 Another very easy way if you don't want to use notion enhancer: just use any online font generator, then copy and paste the texts into Notion.

Note, Notion does not have alot of note-taking features; cannot use stylus/pen, does not have color pen options besides the highlighting feature, to add bulletins there is an extra click as opposed to having these simple options ontop of the page. OneNote seems like the best option for Windows. (pasting this to 8 other videos I watched during my research so don't c)

2 good reasons to NOT use Notion: 1) You can NOT increase the font size 2) You can NOT search for a text inside a page. Two VERY BASIC functions every text app MUST have.

I definitely agree OneNote's structureless design makes it easy to lose stuff. If you want to make stuff concrete, you should really transition the information elsewhere. This doesn't bother me because my notes stay pretty loose and the concrete stuff I transition to other documents, which is sort of my version of your copying phase for handwritten notes. Turns out toggle lists ARE in OneNote! Thanks to comments for teaching me this, it's a wonderful discovery. I only learned about active recall techniques recently so even if I'd known before it wouldn't have a occurred to me to use them this way, thanks for that pointer David. Vielen herzigen dank!

Bdw OneNote has the toggle feature. Maybe not as obvious as Notion. You can always hide information under indent bullets in OneNote But Notion is still a game changer with its database feature. And yes the struggle is real with limited flexibility in taking notes. Poor but manageable. Where it sucks the most for Notion is not being able to have a local copy. You are in a plane. Sorry no Notion for you!

I like that in onenote i can navigate super fast with combination of left sections pages and top tabs now i saw you have navigated hierarchically which takes some time what do you think?
