This ending shocked me back when I was a kid and even today, I still think about it sometimes and I wonder... What if our "real life" ends up being something similar to this? After all, nobody knows for sure what exactly happens when we leave this plane of existence. Just think about it for a second: what if all the places that you have been, all the people you have met, your friends, pets, and even your own family, were just part of a very long dream.
