Yes very similar results. I have a Chinon Bellamy . Humble pocket camera and I am very happy with it.

did security not regularly patrol at the time? I've been wanting to get in there, but they're basically always driving, or parked around the outside 😓
@davegeraghty2187Ай бұрын
You arent reallt deacribing pushing. The lab is doing the pushing. Youre overexposing by stops by changing the dial
@ThomasBocageАй бұрын
Think of pushing film as a team effort. You do your part as the photographer to overexpose the film to your desired level of exposure. You then let your lab know how much you overexposed your film and then in the development process it is pushed. But you as the photographer 100% play a role in pushing the film by overexposing it. Cheers!

So did you replace your 35mm Nokton for the Ultron?
@ThomasBocageАй бұрын
Short answer is yes, but I will talk more in depth about this soon!
@foxmouthАй бұрын
Can't decide between the hand crank or the automatic grip. I love the idea of keeping it manual but the grip makes it more straightforward
@ThomasBocageАй бұрын
Really just depends on the type of shooting you will be doing. If you need to shoot fast then the auto grip is a no brainer. Otherwise I would go with the manual crank!

I'm sad they discontinued it. I still have 3 rolls. The secret to make this one look great is to overexpose. Fujifilm always has a washed out green tint in the underexposed areas but if you give it enough light, it really pops.

always gotta give it more light!

1:33 i respect that you said In your opinion, but I think a couple of people have made comparisons and found some of th3m to be incredibly close (acros, classic neg for example). I think Hasem from pushing film has a great vid on that. But there isn't nearly enough vids out there on the subject sadly.

I use the SF20 with my M6 and it is non-TTL. Once you watch a few videos on how to expose it is really easy to shoot with honestly!

It is great for those new to MF, but by no means for beginners only. It enables me to easily print 20 or 24" prints that no way i would make with 35 mm. The neg is 3x the size and the difference is substantial. So end result usage is a consideration. With 35 mm get 36 shots, and if only printing to 16" it is fine and easily portable and uses my killer nikon/zeiss glass. The 645 is totally portable in the stripped down configuration, wlf, hand crank. The RB once you learn to wear it cross body, can be carried for hours and quickly accessible but unless the additional resolution or tonal transitions is necessary, the 645 does all that is needed.

The price of the Contax is 80% celebrity endorsement. I’ve had three and all have broken. The electrics are brittle and will inevitably shit the bed, but all my XAs are running, and you can get ten XAs for one Contax. If Beyoncé busted out an XA they would cost $2k each too.
