Great video 🙏🏻✨ assuming always meter for the Shadow ? Even during pushing the film ?

Thank you my friend! And I typically try to meter for the midtones to get the most even exposure possible. Although metering for the shadows is not a bad idea either because you can always bring back the highlights!

hi what happened if I shoot film at 1600 but pushed at 3200 ? is it going to give me 1 stop light over ?

So your guide to pushing film is “Tell the lab to push your film”. 🤣

I mean besides actually explaining how to expose it correctly while shooting in order for it to be pushed in the development process, pretty much lol

You arent reallt deacribing pushing. The lab is doing the pushing. Youre overexposing by stops by changing the dial

Think of pushing film as a team effort. You do your part as the photographer to overexpose the film to your desired level of exposure. You then let your lab know how much you overexposed your film and then in the development process it is pushed. But you as the photographer 100% play a role in pushing the film by overexposing it. Cheers!
