I would have liked to have seen a half hour TV series with these two characters . It would have been great to see the two Ronnies in a sit-com together...

Cyd Hayman was an absolute stunner! I saw this when it was first broadcast and rapidly lost the plot as she caught my undivided attention. Great comedy and played entirely for laughs. 😊

I call my guinea pig "Piggy Malone" I couldn't think where I'd heard that name before and found this. I recall it was the least funny part of their sketches. I watched a few and its still not good seems so obviously scripted unlike their other sketches.

When I was a young lad they filmed a sketch in a Shop up the high street , south Gloucestershire called Thornbury. The film crew bought us sweets to be quite so they could film without the noise from the kids. RC got his idea for for Open all hours from a shop in the high street which still there run by a Thornbury family called Riddifords

Sorry - the backdrop gag was fairly obvious, but being right next to a burger van by the motorway was where the next-level comic excellence kicked in. Laughed way too loud at that.

Death can be fatal has been cut from the current repeats of the Two Ronnies on the yesterday channel. What the fuck is up with the do gooders who control what we view and what is the point of showing the programme after cutting the centre piece of the show. What a messed up easily offended World we live in today.

Apparently Sid James was happily married. Adored his wife + kids. He made certain that his family were happy + wanted for nothing. He adored all kids. The neighbourhood children would knock on his door at home to ask his wife if "Mr James" was coming out to play today! He also loved women (+gambling!) Women adored Sid. He was great fun + even as an older man he always had queues of ladies waiting for him back stage. During lunch breaks he had a "Do Not Disturb" sign + noone ever did. Sid + Hancock were genius together. 2 very different personalities. 🙂☹️
