You went from the Z900 to 2 overpriced HDs? Yikes.

I'm getting one in 2 weeks time. I noticed that you have a fender extender as well. The front fender is rather short from factory. Congratulations, cheers 🍺

Very interesting video, a lot of interesting information. I have a question, what kind of helmet are you wearing in this video?

That bike sounds awesome! Looks awesome too. If I were to buy one I think the first thing for me would be a puig touring windscreen. Next would be a tail tidy. That scorpion is awesome

I would have stuck with the sport glide nice to have a bike few people have that fairing is horrible my opinion fairings these days have these bikes looking like boats should have threw some 16 inch bars on the SG and you would have been good you that fairing is actually from the original 1983 sport glide that’s funny .

I loved my sport glide. It’s a great bike. I do miss it actually. However, I’m planning to move to Spain in about 2 years, and for the initial registration I needed the bike to be pretty much stock, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to bring it over. And that wouldn’t have been possible with the sport glide. The opportunity to upgrade came along and I went for it.
@TheBikeFather3 ай бұрын
Style wise, I love both. It’s a bit like the street glide vs road glide. The sport glide is a bit more classic, relaxed, whilst the low rider st a bit more sporty/aggressive I guess.

Gotta love the bike, finding neutral is much easier if you do it in motion before you come to a standstil.

Very sad to see the Z900 go, but as a rider sometimes stepping up to a cruiser is the best option especially if you want to crush some miles!
@TheBikeFather5 ай бұрын
Z900 was a great bike. But riding a cruiser…relaxing almost as you’re sitting on your sofa, it’s a whole different level of riding. I love it. I can ride for a lot longer without complaining that my butt or back hurts. 👊🤘

I wonder if the bar ends you bought will also fit a 2024 Z900RS. The mirrors look great. Did you have to get used to looking down to see behind you?

No idea about the bar ends to be honest. As for the mirrors you get used to very quickly

Hello from France ! ( as always) I discovered this vlog, and the comment I wrote on the other vlog " first impressions after stage 2", will be more accurate here !! of course, So here is the copy : Thanks a lot for this simply but brilliant vids ! I love your way to explain, the way you film, I have the impress to seat back on the saddle ! I 'm looking for an Harley, and I fall in love for the " Sport glide", but... It'll be my first bike after 20 years stop riding, and ... I'm little afraid not handling in confidence such heavy bike ( 650 Lbs / 317 kg), and worst, to let it falling down ! And, I'm not very tall ( 5"4) Do you think it's doable, to ride this bike for me ? Congrats for your work Have a nice day, John Christopher
@TheBikeFather6 ай бұрын
Thanks. It is a heavy bike indeed, however 1) it’s very low so depending how tall you are, you can actually put both feet on the ground, so that’s provides more stability and confidence and 2) the Center or gravity is very low which means when you’re riding the bike feels very nimble, it doesn’t feel heavy. I love it, highly recommend.

I absolutely love the lights, as a matter of fact a think it's what makes it in terms of aesthetic... didn't know they were so polarising
