One is an expanded version of the base game, the other is an alternate version of the base game, that can be also be used as an expansion. Obviously get both, but Zombies offers more upfront, so it’s the priority if sheer content is your goal. GvE is easier to implement gameplay wise if you don’t want to overcomplicate the game any further.

3rd option, buy both and play the zombie apocalypse gamemode

one the one hand zombie gives many new mechanics but good vs evil is freeing or you can play with or without the new mechanic with some sprinkle of new mechanics

both are very good even if don’t have either but combine both if you have them idiot,sorry for buying,choose th one that appeals

Team zombie kittens for sure ☝️ Never try good vs evil though but I have zombie kitten and that was awesome, it's unlock the whole new strategy like if you explode first you can just die and wait for the othe for resurrection you latter in the game. so you can safe your zombie kittens card. Also Attack of the death card is so deadly 💀

Really enjoy this machine . We owned one of the earliest models and it worked great for many years. Yes, it isn’t as fast on the k-cup side and for those in serious need or a hurry😊 I imagine it seems slow. But we just preloaded it and set the timer and woke up to the wonderful smell of coffee. When we retired and went RVing for a few years and we really missed it (too big for our rig) but 1 of our kids took it and it’s still going strong many years later. We got back into a sticks and bricks home 3 yrs ago and immediately bought the newest model then and have no regrets.

You didn't mention the fact that they changed the Barking Kittens Cards... In the Original, you get to steal half of the other player's hand, but now you explode.

Personally i really like the curse of the cat butt card and the combos that can be used with it I have outplayed my friends a few times using the combo Anti shuffle (bombs to the top) + curse of the cat butt and either an attack or a slap card, completely obliterating them in late game
