Only thought I have is how is this deck on the draw? Seems pretty great on the play but can get stomped on the draw, I run a slightly different version of this but wondering for championships using Dolores and shadow finders leading to a more control style.

Don't find Diablo so important in this deck.. its okay with 2x diablos but it's just my opinion, great deck regardless I play 2x 5 drop kusco great treat and don't die to Medusa.. had some games where i can bounce him back and play him again :)

Great video. Keep doing what you are doing.👍 I do play Amber Ruby as well and you gave me quiet some ideas to rework it. I usually play it a whole lot different but at least the ariel+Family Combo is really nice and I might copy that. My deck was playing a combination of Ruby Rush characters like Goofy or the Queen of Hearts + Amber Bodyguards like Simba and many others. The Idea was/is to not mind my opponents field and spam out low cost characters with enough lore to win inside six round in usual games. Played it yesterday for the first time in a local store and was quite shocked how well this worked especially in the first round of the Bo3 when they didn't know what hit them. I was able to outspeed Bucky+Steel in 2 of the 3 games, Bounce Control in 1 of the three games and had a real easy time all 3 games against a Ruby+Saphire Deck. I also had a blast against a beginner with a broom themed deck. Not because it was that easy but because I build one myself as well and was shocked about the way he beat me in our second game of match by simply drawing more than me in one single turn. If there is anyone interested in my (selfmade and not well thought through) Decklist. Just let me know.

So, aggro, but we've got a Queen's Castle and an Isabela? I didn't see any Piglet, Pinocchio, Lilo, Maleficent. I didn't see any of the 2/3 Sleepy that quests for 2 and dodges the Steel removal. A Wendy showed up at some point so that's good. The deck is too slow. Aggro loses to Steel; hyper aggro is a coin toss.

OH MY GOD THANK YOU I FORGOT ABOUT SLEEPY from our talk on the other video i decided to play hyper aggro ish more fun than i thought and i was thinking everything gets taken out a little to easy i was thinking wendy but 1 attack isn't great against red but sleepy could work great thank you

And yeah, Wendy does get taken out by the 3 drop Sisu, BUT the entire point is that you overwhelm the removal that Ruby has, and likely win by turn 4-6 depending on their draws. Against Steel, the Wendy and Sleepy are both all-star characters. I actually removed Sleepy from my build during set 3, because Snake and Fox were all over the place, so it got risky to play Sleepy since he enters exerted. But in the current meta, he dodges a lot of early removal.

@@Xoulrath_ yeah I don't run snake or fox in my build I'd rather take a more aggro control with perdita mufasa and good ol rockstar stich it's doing ok only lost twice beat of two against sapphire steel but beat red purple twice two diff people 2-0 them both and on other deck that i don tllt remember rir

@@samdaman-hb3ul oh, I wasn't talking about running Snake or Fox in the hyper aggro build. I meant that I stopped using Sleepy because of Snake and Fox. Sleepy enters exerted, so with those two all over the place, it was hard to justify the card, as he ended up being inked more often than not. But with Snake and Fox less likely to be around since E/St and R/Sap are doing well, it's probably fine to run Sleepy now.

As a ruby amethyst player I hope and pray almost no one plays GS discard at set champs lol luckily the deck is stupid expensive and I only expect 1-2 people to actually have the deck in person.

Honestly I might thinking playing full aggro for ursula championship. I found last time i was playing ruby saphire. All my games was almost the full time and I remember after 4/5 set of Bo3 i was exhausted because i had less break between games. Playing 10 - 12 games in paper format vs PB not the fk same thing

Lol. 😂 I MUCH prefer paper to digital for card games and miniatures games. Opponents stalling or just taking too long can be called out. I hated Pixelborn more often than not because of the roping, intentional or otherwise. As for your choice to play aggro, I can second that. I'd personally go Amb/Ame and run hyper aggro. The only point is to put bodies on board and score. Aggro leave a bit of room for other strategies, but it dilutes your scoring potential. Standard aggro can be beaten with a bad draw and a deck like E/St running through the meta. Hyper aggro can be ready to win by turn 4 or 5, before the Steel removal can even be an issue.

Awesome video. I'm starting to dip into S/S myself. Any suggestions on wanting a little more location control? Rise of the titans is fine, but would an extra Along Came Zeus be decent enough? I struggle some with castles early.

3 Zeus and 2 Baboom help, if you know locations are a problem prioritize getting out Tinker Bell. You could also run 1-2 Rise or Avalanche.

It’s pretty hard to follow the lore count for both players on webcam. Maybe you could add the lore count at the side graphic, although I know it’s more editing for you I think it would benefit the videos :) Besides that great video :) I’m still unsure if I want to play this list or steel/ sapphire at my next live event. Edit: Sorry I rewatched and heard that you actually talked about improving that lore count problem by your old phone so you already thought about a solution :)
