Really pumped to play Ruby Amethyst again this weekend. I see that there are a few decks running pascals, what are your thoughts there?

You can run Pascal, but it will likely be outed quickly via a Ruby or Steel card on the opponent's end. For me, i'd rather the card off Followers rather than the extra lore or 2 from Pascal.

I tried a list similar to this. It can't be green steel sadly, but wrecks blue red and has decent matches against the other random decks people are playing.

Emerald is still tough but you can overcome it with decent draws and mak8ng he right decisions for ink and what to play.

What are your thoughts of magic broom - illuminary keeper over minnie mouse? More draw overall and I never find Minnie to be useful for anything =/

Broom is better if you are not playing Teeth, that is why Minnie is there.

@@QuantumMercury appreciate your reply. I just got into the game and going to my first event tomorrow. Pieced together almost your exact build. Replaced followers with broom. Only because the local shop didn’t have any followers. Also grabbed some pascals and might throw those in instead, but I like the draw option. Thanks for making my entry into the game smooth with such great walk throughs!

You should play the floodborn minnie over peagsus it plays the same role but can sing songs 4 cost and lower plus she is evasive with a 2/3 stat line meaning it will stay on board longer and will take out atleast 2 characters.

Also if you’re not sold on playing be prepared anymore just play 2 Tremaines. If you think the deck should focus more on characters and winning the game I can see the be prepared being swapped for her since she to me brings more value if you’re able to consistently deal with characters every turn. But I still think Be Prep is really good just against heavy wide boards like ES and Ruby Sapphire if they have multiple dime targets on the field. Male Dragon is still a good card this set too.

I think the Minnie is too combo-y You want to deal with the diabolo ASAP and if you miss your 1 drop Minnie then you can't shift turn 2 and need to wait till turn 4 by then could be too late and the opponent could have the overwhelming advantage and without a whole new world you can't recoup some momentum

Another possibility could be Peter Pan's Shadow - Not Sewn On/ Peter Pan - Shadow Finder as they are each 2/3 bodies with rush and evasive. Peter Pan comes down turn 3, but doesn't synergize with the deck, where as the Shadow does give both Maui and Fox evasive for extra coverage later in the game, such as if a Pegasus is shifted.
