Hey Dude if your black wrap doesn't hold up you can pick up a very cheap black rubber handle bar grip. Just cut off the closed end and slide upto your T. Steve

I have this yak in a 2018 model, not much different and I love it! I plan on installing my 46# thrust Newport vessel trolling motor! I already built custom outriggers on it. Now it won't tip over even if you tried!

Problem with those quick release mounts is when you're trolling... the one in the left side loosens when a fish hits the left rod. Scotty needs to make a replacement bottom with reverse thread for the left side of the watercraft.

Couldn’t see how you tied off very well, but liked it.

Thimble he also addresses dissimilar materials to not use aluminium w/ Stainless Steel in a previous video. Only he's got larger cable.

I see it’s been two years since you have posted yak vids. I also see you went peddle drive. Did you give up ? I hope not. Just dig your SG 130 back out and enjoy. I hate peddle drives period. What are your thoughts on those ?

I know this is old. It’s still one of the best fishing yaks built. Especially by todays so called standards. I use the SeaGhost 130 and Cobra Fish n Dive which is 36” wide with a very unique hull design. My two fav yaks

My 6 year old daughter was given a wave for Christmas. She had to try it out in my Mother's pool right after exploring the lanai at Nanny's house and finding it. She went into the bathroom and changed into her bathing suit, donned her new pfd and I put the yak in the pool. Off she went. The neighbors came to see her in the pool. My daughter is 50 lbs and the yak will support up to 130 lbs, so she will have it a few years. The kayak is very stable. I'm not sure about how well it tracks because my daughter needs to polish her paddling skills. It was her first time paddling anything. It gave her lots of enjoyment, and that's what counts. It did not come with a backrest and I had seen pictures of wave models with one. I called Lifetime customer service and told them that my daughters kayak was missing the backrest. They asked me what was the model number. I told them. I was told that that model does not come with one, however, as a one time courtesy that they would send one out to us. I thought that was very gracious of them. I thanked him and wished him a Happy New Year. 2021 has got to be better than 2020. In conclusion, nice starter yak for children. Lifetime has good customer service. The price wasn't bad. It's under $100.00 if you shop it. I got it from The Home Depot. Wal-Mart carries it too.

I just purchased a Tk122 made by bkc that has around a 700lb. Weight limit, it’s a tandem kayak that one person can use for less than a 1,000

Instead of connecting the two wires together, I simply ran the new nylon coated wire along the old wire....very easy, no need to tape. What I found to be the cause of the slapping sound inside was that one end of the starboard sleeve went inside the hull....the other side is quiet. I haven’t replaced the old sleeve yet....still trying to figure out how.
