Having more white honestly makes more sense. Toothless' black genes wouldnt be that strong in his future generations for long (probably not even long enough to have any black at all by 1300 years) so it is better to be more white! I love your redesign.

I’ve always wanted to throw my hat into the ring on this. Thunder’s deisgn is BAD. Mostly in his silhouette and proportions. It doesn’t look all that bad at all glance, but once you really look at it, it’s awful. I’ve alywas personally liked the idea of them re-using the Lightfury’s concept art for the Modern day Nightlights. So we could have both the beautiful HTTYD 3 LightFury and get to see what the concept art could’ve been if they’d gone through with it. Specifically the gray one with all the cool markings. That’s just me though. I absolutely LOVE your redesign! It’s leagues better than what we got. I wish it was cannon!

Ooh I love the idea of leaning back into the old light fury concepts because that would be such an interesting way to incorporate such a lovely design while being something a bit new for a show set far into the future of a well established world! And thank you so much :D

i heard ur voice and saw ur lil doggo character and i instantly subbed without thinking, i love ur voice and ur soft tones. Most youtubers are so loud but your tone is just perfect for my brain. thank you <3 I love your design by the way, i really appreciate a lighter version of the quite aggresive color pattern thunder has in the show.
