I had to drop the Sphinx but I gained a wizard. I love idea for Tomb Guard but just think skeletons do them better and the characters are there for killing as for half the points you get nearly the same thing

@SandsOfEternity For me it's that I have 20 models of Tomb Guard painted + a couple unit fillers. That and I've had games where my opponent engages with them and they've failed to kill them (in fact had got 3rd out of 12 at a store tournament locally). YMMV with them but I've had stellar games with them but I can see your point.

i feel like tomb guard can work, u can have +1ws from my will be done if tomb on chariot is joining , also the ws banner for whole unit 5ws 5s with halabard with cleaving blow can work.. and the champion can be insane alone and easy to ressurect. just a thing to play around i might actualy try it with herald and tomb on chariots joining for my grand army list

So it's only the fully unit so you can't join a unit of chariots but chariots can join a unit of inf - it's broken for sure but does work - it's like having Monstrous inf characters in a unit e.g. minitor for beast men in a unit of gor

So it would vary, would think something between 10-15 wide I am hoping to get a game this week with a mate with a more friendly TKs list with a bit of everything - I'd say ushabti of sorts, tomb scorpions, casket for protection, and something fun like a tk on dragon or necrosphinxs

@ list posted. The idea is to fly around and summon units to flank an artillery line, or maybe get a general/wizard/ engineer kill with the scorpion. The serpents once summoned can move as normal to a flank. Bowshabti will require a charge on the enemy. The elementalist has the Phazaraks jar which can summon 2D6 + 3 skellys who get to charge on the same turn. Excellent to catch wizards off guard or gun lines. It’s defensive or offensive. I have given necro lore familiar to cast Ethereal steed on elementalist before, so he can fly around and be a menace with summoning.

It's to do with the wording: 'If within 12 inches of A casket' so it's the use of English, that no matter how many you are within you'll only get 1 rather then the English of: 'If within THIS casket, you get the plus 1'
